With how much he’s riding Web of Shadows, he seems to disregard how the game starts with Peter getting beat up by Venom and about to die right before the Symbiote splits off and attaches to him.
If you ask Jonkler how he’d want these characters to be introduced and the fights to happen, it would be so incredibly boring. If he wrote John Wick, he’d have had John kill Viggo’s son and his friends when they broke into his house and saved his dog. End of movie then and there. A fight without any stakes because you refuse for the protagonist to get hit is just a kid on the playground saying they have an invisible shield that blocks a specific thing they were hit with.
And complaining about concept art is like grading an essay based on the first draft instead of the final. It does not matter what’s being shown there. The only critique would be wishing certain things did make it into the final product. Not complaining about the protagonist not being bulletproof and being caught off guard. That’s like saying Captain America was nerfed because Bucky nearly killed him in Winter Soldier.
The fight scenes in the Raimi movies were so good because Spidey took his own hits. There’s a back and forth and there’s a real sense of danger. That adds stakes and tension. Of course we know he won’t die because he’s the main character, but the question is “how will he win?”. Imagine saying Raimi’s Spider-man was merged because Doc Ock knocked him out after he stopped the train. Or when Goblin was beating him up in the abandoned building after he held up the cable car. Or because he needed help taking down a giant Sandman and Venom.
Spider-man is regarded in the comics as one of the greatest heroes of all time on 2099. It isn’t because he’s the strongest, or unbeatable. It’s because he always gets back up and pushes through no matter what. And newsflash, to get back up, you have to get knocked down.

@@moviehermit5631 he probably also doesn’t realize that in SM 2 PS5, he only gets help from Miles and MJ to save the city from the symbiote invasion. In WoS, he’s alongside all of SHIELD, including the Black Widow, and also Wolverine, Luke Cage, and Moon Night, or some of the other villains if you choose some bad choices. By his own logic, he should be seen as even weaker in WoS cause he got even more help than in SM 2 and couldn’t save the world on his own there either.
I guess by Jokers logic - every character in Infinity War / Endgame who took an L to Thanos was also Nerfed

Im an artist and aspiring writer/mangka. People like this dont understand the dedication it takes to make a story wnd character designs. i have stories i been creating since i graduated Highschool in 2018. It's not easy. The world building, plot, fights, power system, characters and personalities are just something that takes 5 mins to come up with. This is why i believe not everyone is entitled to an opinion.
You said it all . But anyways , if you don’t mind my inlay I’m an aspiring mangaka as well . I already figured out most of my manga . I just have to imagine more characters and build my art style that I want to be an hybrid of Bleach and MHA .

What's really funny is that if you can use the same logic about peter being nerfed in sm 2 with web of shadows because in the majority of the game you have the black suit. The only times you see him without it is during the beginning where you almost get killed and the final mission which depends on the path you take

Whilst he wasn't literally nerfed, he just looked less competent, e.g he got slapped by the sinister six but he still puts up a fight, like his first encounter with kraven is shameful
It's almost they expect Spider-Man to be an 80s action hero where that kind of character felt invincible from enemies. As for the details with the symbiote, well Peter did say he felt energized with the black suit, and thanks to your previous videos giving insight into certain moments like Connors call Spider-Man about the symptoms, it suddenly clicked in my head when thinking oh right, Peter's exhausted after separating from the symbiote, and the suit kept him from feeling tired and by the time he's out of it his muscles feel extra sore after doing fighting, swinging and so on after, an abnormal amount of time. It's like human exercise when we start doing more workouts after the comfortable amount of warmups our muscles feel the after effects the next day, and I like to think the soreness kicked in when Peter woke up in Oscorp after Venom threw him across the room.
Maybe a bit off topic here, but I don’t get at all how anyone can say it’s a problem that Spider-Man is struggling against Venom and that this means he’s “nerfed” in this canon. Newsflash, that’s what happens in literally every canon’s adaptation of Venom. The whole point of him is that he’s practically a darker, stronger, faster, more skilled Spider-Man who serves as his haunt and his nightmare. Spider-Man always needs to rely on more than his own strength and speed to defeat him, as obviously his chances of beating him in a head-on fight are slim. He also needs to use his intellect and exploitation of the symbiote’s weaknesses. But no, here he’s nerfed just because… reasons.

The concept art in a way shows what the creators were going for
Regardless if it got into the finish product or not you could say this is something they probably did want in the game and what we ultimately got is what they could do with the resources they had
Like for example they wanted to a make a venomized sandman in the 3rd act of sm2 but they said it cost to much money to do that which is why they didn’t do it
However that’s not saying its impossible in lore of the game, its just a fact they themselves create the lore and concepts in the game
If you ever use concept art it should only be used to see what they were thinking of doing up up until they got to the finished product
Heck in no way home some of the concept art reveals some ideas that I’m sure a some people would or wouldn’t like
Also there is also the fact in no way home there is actually concept art that insomainc Spider-Man would have been in no way home and other spider people
But they cut that idea
You could say that it’s possible that could have happened even though it didn’t for story reasons already being convoluted
Like I will use say Spider-Man 2 concept art to point out insomniac show that Peter at base with miles help can fight venom
Or how both miles and Peter fight craven and his hunters out in the open of the city
Where kraven is partaking in the battle so clearly neither Spider-Men are going to be blized
Even thou that didn’t happen in the game
from what we did get in the game the only thing I have a problem with is people saying peter is fodder to characters like say venom or kraven ignoring the context
In almost all Spider-Men media venom or kraven at there best can or have beaten Spiderman in a direct confrontation if not in their very first battle
But peter at base can still beat them it’s just not going to be easy by any means
It’s a case people seem to act like say for example if tobey fought kraven and got stabbed they think kraven is more powerful then Tobey thought he was and if they got in a rematch Tobey could win
But when it comes to insomainc Spider-Man people either think kraven is to powerful for peter to even fight without black suit
Or peter was somehow weaker then he otherwise would be
Its like people pick and choose instead of looking at the context
If they did there wouldn’t be a debate at all
Don't forget RiftGaming in Spiderman vs Sandman fight Peter was also desperately trying to finish the fight quickly because he has teaching job to get to. Its also the reason why he gets super aggressive.

It seems that joker and his friend have no idea what concept art is supposed to be. Who would've guessed they would try to make points on a subject they have very little knowledge on.
I find it hilarious that Ultimate Joker is complaining about how Peter was cowering in fear/being beaten up from/by Harry and MJ in the concept art for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, but yet doesn't complain how Raimi's Spider-Man 4 was going to have Peter get the crap beaten out of him by Vulture (Who should be a regular human with just a mech suit from what I could tell from that cancelled movie), according to a deleted scene. Also, Peter was also going to lose against the Vultress (Who is also a regular human with a mech suit from what I could tell from the script of the cancelled movie) in that same cancelled movie.
