I dropped my spare from under the vehicle (2007 Sienna). The suspension cable corroded and that was it for the spare. No idea where it happened, and hopefully no one behind me was hurt. I discovered it missing when I went to put air in it. So, needless to say, I really appreciate having the spare indoors.
At least they give you an option for a spare tire. Anyone that was stuck on the side of the road with a flat would tell you how important it is to have.

We have a 2022 Sienna Limited,Since there was no spare,went to the junkyard and bought a Toyota donut spare.I put the tire on a half moon shaped stand,fitted an anchor on the side wall above the tire and strapped it in with a rachet strap.Before I did this,I put a Nylon spare tire cover on it,strapped it in.Also got a scissor jack,handle attachment,lug adaptor.If you have a blow out that the provided fix a flat kit won't fix then we at least are able to change it & move on down the road..I know this is a shade tree kinda fix but you gotta do what you gotta do & not be stranded waiting on road side service to get to you...Al
We're waiting for a 2024 Sienna currently, and the salesmen told me there is a 'new kit' that Toyota recently came out with, that allows for them to add a spare tire compartment and spare tire. Do you have any info on that? The salesmen told me it would still be within the budget of what was written up. Not sure if that means $75 or the $1400 addition that you mentioned in your other video...?

the relock timer starts when you hit your unlock button and then don't open the door within 60 second as default or longer if you set it that way. it is not a walkaway set or something like that

I went to make sure my stock air compressor works...can't. Unless you want to waste your can of goo. Not a regular air compressor but some kind of tire goop integration pressure pump WITHOUT regular inflation hose and connector. Also, no jack or wrench. Fail...

The lug nut tool is in the panel opposite side from the spare, in others words, inside a panel on the passenger side. My 2023 came with a small emergency aid kit in there as well; band-aids, etc. for my 2023 model, that is the same panel where the 12 volt (regular) battery is located. I haven’t seen the Jack, yet. I’ll go looking for that now.
Your dealer is wrong. I even did a locate search to confirm and there are several built in the LE 8 passenger with a spare tire. The code for the dealer to look for is ST
My dealer told me the same thing. It was not an option with the AWD. Now I'm just ticked to find this out! I specifically asked for that option on my 2021 LE.

how would one know to ask if it had a spare. bought one and wasnt told . Im the queen of roadside hazard tires and fix a flat wouldnt have helped on sidewall cuts or michellen splits. Stupid on toyotas part in my opinion. Now I will have one using up space in back flopping around with grandkids onboard. At the very least I should have been told.

you can always carry a tire. you will lose the storage space. check other dealers for mats. theybare out there but in short supply

it is an option in the front wheel drive xle 8 passenger but not in the all wheel drive version of the XLE

You would have to change the interior panel. Its not really a great option to do after the fact
