I was a fan of the Broncos and Oilers from the AFL days. I was living near Houston and wanted to watch the Oilers host Oakland but the game was going to be blacked out locally. I got a room at the Cottonwood Inn in La Grange TX, settled in and watched Houston win then watched Denver win then went to the hotel restaurant for a big chicken fried steak dinner. One of the favorite days of my life.
39:16 Beginning of Monday Night Football's Halftime Highlights. Guessing the first quarter of the New England/Denver game was not shown because of the late 10-point comeback of Dan Fouts and San Diego over Cincinnati
This is the game that started my transition from a NE PATRIOTS [A place I've never been] fan into becoming a DENVER BRONCOS [A state my father retired to from the USAF in 73'] fan My PATRIOTS were humiliated at MILE HIGH 45-10 Also how about that "WACKY" COLORADO Weather it's just as WACKY In the year 2023 as it was back then.
That's the same game that Robin Williams attended while filming an episode of Mork and Mindy at Mile High Stadium - th-cam.com/video/4PP7iXerO3U/w-d-xo.html
It was also the same game film that was used in the movie Everybody's All American where the character Gavin Gray, played by Dennis Quaid, gets into some plays as a Bronco (it was actually Rob Lytle, not Quaid). He's a beaten up veteran by this point in the movie.
I suppose Jackson's slam of Grogan would be called today...but you won't ever hear Steve complain about that or any other hit he ever received. Um, you will always hear me complain about those stupid, silly red pajama pants.
i was six years old. Somehow, I've always had a faint memory of this game. It was in the background to whatever I else I was doing.

You know it is big game if Dick Enberg was doing commentary with Merlin Olsen.
Is that Bryan Cranston in a cotton care commercial at 10:45 ?
Wow this is rare

Real fans never ever switched teams no matter how long they stink

@@orangehoof Just like Rob Lytle in his career
Mile High was a bit of a house of horrors for the 70'and 80's Patriots
Unfortunately it was a house of horrors for most of the NFL.

Thay won't get a running back for another 20 years
