9/7/2021 - I am just now, today, at 63 years old hearing the story about Martha and the use of her vocals without her getting credit. All those years of thinking it was that woman in the video doing the singing. I am so happy to have found these 10 Minutes with Martha Wash. Incredible singer - this has, too, made my day!

A few years ago I saw a talk show interview with Ms. Wash that was uploaded here on TH-cam. I think there were other singers also, but what I remember most was that she sang some blues/standards and I REALLY loved her singing. I've been searching for that video but, unfortunately, it must have been taken down. Would love to hear her singing some of these.
