Honda Pioneer failure

UPDATE: It's now been over 3 years since I uploaded this video. Time and an increased number of complaints from owners have vindicated my criticisms of this machine despite the name calling and accusations of some. I have also disabled comments because there is nothing left to say here.
HOWEVER...were I to make this video today, I would be less critical of this machine. While the power/lack of low range issues are 100% true, this machine ultimately carried me over 8700 miles, with the only issue a small leak from the rear output shaft seal ($3 + labor), and that certainly justifies cutting it some slack.
It's also true that most will never have this problem, as I can now verify 1st hand. I have relocated to the east coast and roughly 1000' of elevation, and it was a much different machine here,. Unless you run big tires or are a HP junkie, I don't see this being an issue at these elevations. Unfortunately, my machine is now gone on to another owner.
In conclusion: Live at high altitudes (5000+ feet)? Don't expect much from this machine. Live closer to earth? Then It will make a good, durable machine that will serve you well.
