Surely no more certain a way to assure a hard Winter than to store the ploughs in an out of the way location.😊 Two light engines seen at Gretna Green....does that qualify as an Elopement❤😅
@@JJthrashing it’s incase one of the locos fails, it would be very annoying to rescue a failed loco in between the snowploughs because they don’t have an easily accessible coupling on the front of them, hope this is useful, thanks for the comment!
the snow was almost covering the track and the platform 😂😂

Great to see 37405 still going strong got my accurascale model of the loco absolutely stunning
He gave it the beans leaving Dumfries, blessed us with a glorious soundtrack
@@Mick526 yes it was brilliant!
Great video, good to see a 37 & 56 out & about.
Thank you! 👍
Love it. Absolutely brilliant
Thanks! 😊
I've seen videos of 37405 with Colas 37 horns but on the last clip it sounds different!?
Something else 👍
@@stevehull787 thanks! 😊
Good grief! It’s a bit late; there’s no snow now but I guess there’s always next year.

Snowploughs in August, is this a sign of an early winter ?
@@Barbarapapeyes it is a bit early, thanks for the comment! 👍
@@TRAlNVlDEOS Perhaps they are hiding them before they are sold off.🤔
Why use two locomotives to move snowplough’s ?

@@JJthrashing Probably to ensure they get there, both of these locomotives are getting on
and reliability is not a certainty.
