@@bm_wuratli6883 What? I don't understand your question. 8,000 Hz is what is being sent to the mouse. Your monitor while being 240 Hz won't be translating 1 - 1. But you'll see an improvement on a 240 Hz compared to a 144 hz or 60 hz monitor. Most gaming mice are 1,000 hz.
@@bm_wuratli6883 That's strange. I added subtitles and they are working for me. Just double checked. If you can't get them to work I can send you the script.
I personally, still found issues at 4khz as I tested some of the games I play (Left 4 Dead 2, Risk of Rain 2, Minecraft) and found that it still had a small amount of frame lag when playing games so I switched to 2khz and it appears to perform the same as 1000hz but have noticeably better accuracy and no stuttering. Having a 240Hz monitor helped me big time with testing this.
Appreciate you sharing your findings with me. I've had mixed results. Lately, I've been using the Viper V2 Pro or Deathadder V3 Pro at 4,000 Hz and haven't run into many issues. However, have noticed that certain programs will cause my frames in games to drop. But when I close them that it's just fine. Also, recently watched a review of the Viper Mini SE by Hardware Cannock's and he had dropped frames in games that I don't. Making it kind of the same as I mentioned in the review. Where it seems to vary wildly from system to system.
Production quality is a solid 8/10 my man. Very easy to listen to, you seem to know what you are talking about. And i am utterly flabergasted that you are only at 5k subs. Grind hard and you will get up there. As some one who never seen you before i liked what i was seeing within 10 seconds . ohh and .. Superman
I appreciate you watching to the end. Also, thanks for letting me know about the production quality and other things. As that really does help me a ton in knowing at least I'm doing something right. I keep trying to make better and better videos and don't get a lot of feedback so it's nice.
Sooo glad I found your channel after a razer viper switch difference search. Sooooo good at what you do, only time and everything else you invest in the career will tell. Unrelated but if you're using a razer keyboard in your background I'd really love your lighting profile.
Oh man I deeply appreciate the encouraging words. They help more than you know. Also, I appreciate the support and watching the whole video! I'm using the Corsair K100 in the background. And I believe it is a custom preset. Where I'm using "Viser" which is a normal preset. With some other custom colors or something. It could also be their Pastel Preset. It's hard to tell from the video. If you'd like I can look closer when I get home.
I recently was looking on gaming mouse to upgrade. I bought the deathadder v2 at last. Saw many reviews on the 8k, yours is much detailed tho. But the price point exceed my budget for a currently less supported feature.
That's probably a good call. It's a great mouse but the 8,000 Hz still doesn't play well with others. So, waiting a while until it becomes more main stream is a good idea.
Great question. The mouse itself comes with a high-speed microcontroller. And I think it is is compatible with USB 2.0. I thought I mentioned something about USB in one of my videos about this mouse (either this one or the other one that I have on it) but it has been a while since I checked. Basically, it is probably best to find a USB that plugs directly into your motherboard. As if you are sharing this mouse with other devices it may clog the line. So to speak. The way you would check is to check out your motherboard documentation (on which one is shared or not shared USB device). I think you can also look in your device settings on your PC. But honestly, I'm not an expert at that type of stuff so I can't tell you for sure and don't feel like researching it myself at this time.
@@ThomasMuehler Ah ok, thank you for your reply! :) It would also be harder to sell if the end user needed to have some newer USB microcontroller inorder to use the mouse! :-)
I'd be a bit concerned about 8k polling with your CPU and 75 Hz monitor. As I think that would put quite the tax on your system and with 75 Hz you are very limited in seeing the possible benefits. You may notice an improvement but usually that is felt with a better processor (so it doesn't limit frames and other processes) and higher refresh rate monitor (as that reduces latency as currently your CPU and Monitor are hard bottle necks.). So, to answer your question I think 1,000 Hz would be ideal for your current system. I wouldn't necessarily buy an 8,000 Hz polling rate mouse at this time as you won't be able to fully utilize the benefits.
Considering upgrading my pc this Black Friday. Do you think that it would make a difference if I’m only able to get 100fps max? Range is 80-100 on warzone and I’m rather good so I’d definitely notice but the problem is the lower frames. Superman
So, I don’t think you need high frames to notice a difference. I think it helps (as anything that can help lower latency will make a difference especially when you have other bottlenecks before you get to this guy). If that made sense. So, do I think you’ll notice a difference. Yes. But I’m not sure how much of a difference you will notice. As I think that varies person to person and depends how sensitive they are to such things. Also, as long as it works on the game it really shouldn’t be causing issues with your frames unless your CPU is maxing out. But it does use more resources so you may lose a few. Unfortunately, I don’t think you’ll really know until you try it out. I’d recommend picking it up from somewhere that has a good return policy in case you don’t like it. Or just reducing the Hz to whatever works. Personally, I stopped using it because I got tired of having to mess with the Hz all the time. But did appreciate the improved accuracy. I also didn’t notice that big of a performance hit unless if something was broken which was causing the massive drop in frames. Did that answer your question? Also, I deeply appreciate you watching the entire video, letting me know, and typing out a comment. :)
@@ThomasMuehler I wasn’t referring to the frames from the perspective of losing them cause of the mouse but more so because I was wanting to make sure that I’d be able to notice a difference with the lower frames since warzone is so cpu intensive. Either way I will buy it but probably not till I upgrade my pc. I appreciate the response though! I’d assume it’s capable on warzone but hopefully by December especially with the new update by then it’ll be capable.
@@Randoms12468 I’m not sure if it is or not. As that isn’t a game that I play a whole lot. For me I can notice a difference even at 60 Hz. Which is why I think you will. But at the same time I don’t know if it is a big enough difference to make it worth it. Kind of varies from individual to individual. I would love to hear your thoughts on it (especially after our conversation) if you remember after you’ve picked it up.
@@ThomasMuehler I’ve picked it up and love it. I play strictly warzone and it feels so ultra smooth. Now I did upgrade my pc as well so maybe that helped but I’ve never felt a better mouse in my life than this one
If you bought the Razer Viper 8 KHz it’s excellent mouse. Second best sensor on the market (focus+) only being beaten by the newly released Viper V2 Pro that has the Focus Pro sensor. It’s even more consistent than any standard 1,000 hz mouse. I’d argue this is one of the best wired mice on the market if not THE best.
Oh man, I wish that I could. Unfortunately, I don't have one of those monitors, I'm broke, my channel is small so makes almost no money, due to my size I couldn't get it sponsored, or know anyone who has one of these monitors. Or else I totally would.
I guess I found there is a caveat, sadly. If it has jitters, you can change the display mode to another setting then back to what you use and the jitters stop. I have jitter in full screen, but none in borderless window. If I want to use full screen, I need only to apply another setting then swap back. Perhaps you could try it out and put up a TH-cam short to help people still searching for answers! I don't really post on TH-cam, otherwise I would.
Does Viper 8kHz have the Smart Tracking, Asymetric Cutoff, and 99.6% Resolution Accuracy, that Viper Ultimate has? Curious as to whether or not Deathadder V2 Pro, Basilisk V2, and Naga x V2 have those features, too. I hope that they make a Mamba V2.
@@DavidPixleythemuzzlZ I replied to it. I can't help you with shape all that much. It sounds like you already kind of know what you are looking for in that regard. I would just get on Razer.com and check the mice you are interested in and which ones you like and compare the dominions and see which one fits the best.
I’ve found out that it’s not the games causing stuttering but the programs running in the backround that in some way interact with games. Like discord when game overlay is enabled, anticheat etc.
Huh, interesting. I'll have to look into that more. For most games I didn't find that to be an issue. But I did regularly run into frames dropping into oblivion. Which is different than the stutter you are saying correct?
@@ThomasMuehler I had also fps drops and lags when I was playing CSGO with anticheat on. Fix for discord was to disable game overlay and for faceit anticheat to run cmd and type bcdedit /set useplatformclock no
I appreciate the support and watching the whole review! It has been a while since I tested anything. But whatever I said in this video and my review of the product is what I found. I noticed that at 2,000 Hz there were no issues for sure. At 4,000 Hz I don't remember anything either. But at 8,000 Hz I did run into some issues. But 8,000 Hz has become more normal since I released these videos so would ASSUME that things have improved in games with that becoming more normal. Also, PC components have gotten a lot faster and robust. So depending on when you last upgraded could perform better or worse.
My Ryzen 3800x is about 50% more powerful than your I5 7400 and I can see it increasing my CPU but it isn't an issue as I still have good headroom. So, I'd be a little concerned about how yours would take it. I don't know if we would know for sure until you tried it out. But you may run into issues.
@@Cooldude1991c I have a review on the mouse itself on my channel that I suggest watching. But SPEC WISE the Razer Viper 8K is the best mouse on the market. It continues to have the best sensor on the market. It has optical switches which are excellent and immune to double clicks. Firmware is fast meaning latency is low anyways. Add the 8K and it is even faster. However, shape, size, and weight are subjective. Some people love the shape. I enjoy it personally but don't think it is perfect. Mostly for fingertip or claw. Size is medium/large. Weight is acceptable but there are a lot lighter ones on the market now. I think the clicks feel great. Side buttons are abnormal as they are on both sides. Some people like this others don't. Meaning is it the perfect mouse? No. There is no such thing. However, I place the Razer Viper Ultimate (which is the wireless variant of this mouse without 8,000 Hz) in my top spot tied with the Logitech G Pro X. This is the same mouse just wired which gives it the 8,000 Hz. The wire could be better. But isn't terrible. I'd say out of all the wired mouse I have tried this is the best.
@@Cooldude1991c I have a review on that mouse you can watch as well. Pretty much the same thing as the Viper. But instead it is a bigger mouse, heavier, and is made for palm grip. But still excellent and I'd say one of the best palm grip mice on the market. Another good palm grip mouse is the Corsair Sabre RGB Pro.
Excellent question. One that I wish I could answer. I'm nerdy but I'm afraid I'd need someone who is an actual engineer to explain it to me. As I think a few different things are happening which are all above my paygrade. My guess and by guess I mean not even an educated guess but a shot in the dark is that there is a ton of data being sent. Most games don't expect the mouse peripheral to be putting up that much data and probably have some cap on it. Due to that it causes some instability as it is trying to find other paths or maxing out a single processor core instead of sharing the load. Making it very inefficient. At this time, since it's been out for a while and higher hertz peripherals are becoming more of the norm I think this isn't as big of an issue as before. I haven't busted out this mouse for a while. But am using an 8,000 Hz keyboard and 4,000 Hz wireless mouse and don't run into any issues on my Ryzen 5900x and didn't have issues on my 3800x which is the same processor I was using in this video. As I think both A. Games and B. Razer have gotten better at the firmware/software to handle it just from experience and time.
I did a review on the Corsair K100 which has 4,000 Hz but then was upgraded to 8,000 Hz. I also bought a Razer Huntsman V2 TKL w/ Purple Switches that I'll probably be reviewing as well. So, yes.
That's only a question you can answer. If you aren't interested in 8K polling rate and are only looking for the best wireless mouse. Then in my opinion that is between the Razer Viper Ultimate or the G Pro X Superlight. Between those two it comes down to personal opinion. If I was going down the Viper Ultimate path I'd personally stick to one of the colored variants such as the Pink, White, or Cyberpunk.
Ech i have the exact same problem ... 8 kHz Viper Wired or 1 kHz Wireless :) I currently have wired 1 kHz mouse, Rival 310 to be precise and i want to upgrade ;)
@@ThomasMuehler I play mainly Apex Legends which as you already know has problems with over 4000 Hz (some ppl report problems even at 4KHz) and i've found promo on new DeathAdder V2 Pro which cost me about 99 EUR (449 PLN) so ... yeah :) So far i love freedom and precision of DA V2 Pro, and also the shape - i don't like buttons on right side of the Viper (even disabled). Now i'm waiting for wireless 4-8KHz mouse, mayby someday :)
@@Alupl Excellent choice. I was using that same mouse right before the Viper 8k came out and was really enjoying it. I wish that Apex supported it better.
Got the M65 Ultra. Never cared about the higher polling rate, just wanted the upgraded M65, but liked the smoother experience so much that I ordered the Viper too to check it out. Was like going from a luxury yacht to a moldy dinghy.
Interesting. Mind explaining that a bit more for me? I'd assume the luxury yacht is the M65 and the moldy dinghy is the Viper. What do you like/dislike for both of them? Genuinely curious.
@@StardustLegacyFighter Lol, I guess I can understanding that. Seeing as the M65 is made from aircraft aluminum or whatever. Personally, I'm not a fan of the M65 shape though.
6:30 that's why I have my 144 hz vg248qe running at 125 hz. 8000/125=64 1000/125=8. I know it's not a perfect 125hz but with 8 or 64 attempts per frame it's close enough.
for me aimlab only works with 2khz :( it feels so bad and sluggish compared to 8khz in other games. I'm actually considering switching to a different aim trainer just because of that.
One thing that I’ve noticed is that other programs can interfere. For example if I’m playing escape from Tarkov and have discord open and at 4k then it will drop frames. If I close discord problem goes away. But have noticed in general aim labs tends to have more issues than most games I try at higher polling rate.
i ordered this mouse and i am playing r6 and i heard 4k is working great so its ok for me for now and maybe in future when games add support for 8k i will be able to go higher than 4k. r6 isnt even that demanding so i think i should be fine even on 8k with i7 8700 non-K.
It is a weird issue. Where I have found that some games tolerate 8K just fine. Others do not. I've also found there is a lot of variability where one person it won't work on a game and another it will work just fine. Would love to hear how it works on your system. So, I am curious to see how this improves over time. With high Hz become more commonplace.
@@ThomasMuehler i am more than happy with this mouse. yesterday it came and it is working on 8k in Rainbow six siege for me. mouse is very reaponsive that means literally zero latency. only thing is while ingame i cant find any signs of lags or whatever but when i alt+tab and using other apps while game is minimized my pc is getting slower. i know it is because of 8k i am using with this mouse but it isnt slowing my pc as much so as long as it will be like this i have no problems with it like i said i am more than happy. it is by far the best mouse i had even better than g703 wirreles i had before this one

Yeah, that was one of my biggest cons on this guy. I was able to get 4,000 Hz to work on most of them though which was still an improvement. Outside of that how are you liking it? Worth it?
I have one of these. It's OK. I prefer the Viper Mini - that's one of the all-time great mouse bargains. The similarities: both have good glides and cables, and the shape of both is good. The differences: on the 8K, the scroll wheel detents are too stiff and the middle button (scroll wheel click) is too light - there's not enough difference between the two. The left and right buttons have too much travel and a feeling of vagueness, not knowing exactly when they're going to click. Not so with the Mini. But the biggest difference is the weight of the mouse. The Mini feels nearly weightless, and so it moves very precisely, and it isn't at all tiring to use. Saving 0.875 milliseconds and reducing stutter is good, but for me the physical aspects of the mouse outweigh that advantage.
Arguably shape is the critical most aspect of a mouse and the Viper Mini absolutely kills it. The second most critical is usually the primary buttons, side clicks, and scroll wheel and I think they nailed those as well. I would absolutely love if they released a Razer Viper Mini Wireless and also an 8k variant with top end specs because I think both would sell like crazy (while keeping the affordable version). Hopefully, that will happen here soon as Razer has some announcements here and in 2022 that they are excited about (according to their reps on Reddit). And one of the main things that people have been asking for is a top end spec Razer Viper Mini and/or a wireless variant. As for your scroll wheel and primary buttons on your Viper 8k. I think you got a bad unit. Because I don't get that at all and I'd argue my Razer Viper 8k has better primary and side clicks than both my Razer Viper Ultimate's. And my RVU's feel fantastic. I'd argue that my 8k clicks are comparable with top of the line mechanical switches with being mild pretravel with a very crisp click. The scroll wheel is a bit stiff but very precise and requires the right amount of pressure for middle mouse click. But agree the scroll wheel is probably the least liked aspect that I've read from people. Maybe I just hit the lottery for mine.
You could mod the viper 8k to make it lighter, if you say that it outways the difference than I bet you havent tryed it it is like I went from 144hz to 240hz again when I bought it
i use a mouse thats 100 and something grams and im comfortable with it. it is amazing. i cant imagine how light my new mouse coming today (viper 8k) is.
For your Info guys: Valorant also has a sweet spot at 4000Hz. At 8000Hz it began to drop frames like people who dont wanna have luck in their next 7 years

I'm sure eventually we'll get to something like that. I think the goal is if we can get the response times down to like 0.01 m/s that's endgame. Until then we keep inching towards that.
So basically it won’t make you a better gamer, esport games don’t support it, frame drop is more important issue than response time on mouse. In conclusion: bullsh*t marketing as always
Yes and no. IF you are having frame drop then of course that's a bigger issue. BUT if you aren't getting frame drops it does make you a better gamer. As everything is smoother, more accurate, and faster. Giving you a slight edge. In conclusion: As with literally everything it depends. 8,000 Hz will become more common place as time goes on. A lot of those games could have been updated by now to support it. As there are multiple 8,000 Hz mice on the market now.
@@ThomasMuehler 8khz mouse is specify for esport fps games, csgo, apex, r6,... you name it. However I pretty sure that in those game frame rate is more important than smooth control, actually in csgo there're some players that don't play with 1khz because 500hz gives them more linear flick so they can headshot easier. Apex is also based on source engine so it's run pretty much on cpu power, if a flick can make your fps drop then it's not worth it. Now if we talk about response time, you also have to take game's tickrate into account, in this case only csgo and overwatch is on par with each other, in other games with 60hz or even 24hz faster response time on the mouse doesn't matter that much, remember that there're some esport games in which pro players play with wireless controller and still beat the crap out of hard core MnK players
@@ThomasMuehler oh and one more thing, since modern gaming mouse nowadays have same good quality sensor, size and weight matter more than high polling rate that doesn't work..... so it's still up to people to choose a gaming mouse they want
@@edfrederick3630 I don’t disagree with your points. You’re right size and weight are far more important than polling rate. Most sensors now a days are also bomb. And the tick rates among other things also comes into play. The commonality of all of those comes down to the individual. You take an expert and it doesn’t matter what gear he is using. He will perform better than almost everyone else. As the skill comes down to the user. Humans are great at adapting. Giving him good gear doesn’t necessarily make him better but does allow him to do thing easier and unlock his full potential. That’s all 8,000 Hz is. Another minor advantage that can unlock some otherwise hidden potential by making it easier to do. But it won’t be night and day. Just like going from 144 Hz to 240 Hz. There is a difference. It does make you better. But not in a super meaningful way. You’re still bottlenecked by plenty of other things. Also, again the high polling rate doesn’t work isn’t accurate. It works for most games. If not at 8,000 Hz at 4,000 Hz which is still noticeable and better than 1,000 hz. Also, it working or not working tends to vary on machine to machine. So it’s not like it is just a gimmick. It’s a thing and it works. Just like 240 Hz or 360 Hz. You just can’t always get that. But the advantage you get from still having that available is there even if you aren’t maxing out the potential there. We’re splitting hairs here. But that’s where all progress is made. Also, by this becoming the norm, tick rates in games would be forced to increase among other things. This is “cutting edge tech”. Meaning it’s not going to be perfect. It’s not supposed to be perfect… yet. As it’s ahead of its time. As for the 500 Hz thing. Yes, while that is true. It’s actually a disadvantage made into an advantage. As it “smooths” things out by not giving enough polling rates to accurately do a straight line. So, to the end user it can “feel” more smooth even though it isn’t. And that individual has just learned to adapt to that so it feels more natural. There is also less jitter and other things happening, again due to less report rates, which makes the appearance of it performing better even though it isn’t. If I’m watching a 720p video on my cell phone it’s going to look the same as a 4K video because at that size the difference is minimal. But you put that 720p video on a 55 inch screen and compare it to a 4k video and there is a big difference. It’s all about perspective. But again, I agree with almost all of your points. And you make very excellent points. I’m enjoying our conversation a lot. Gaming is a sum of all the parts. This is a tiny part. Not even a substantial part. But nonetheless it still makes you better. Until you try it out it’s hard to explain. But the improvement is there.
@@xJoyy Hard to say as it really comes down to personal preference. As they are the same exact mouse just one is wired and supports 8,000 Hz and the other is wireless and comes in more colors and 1,000 Hz. So, if you have the hardware and the skill level to utilize the 8,000 Hz and can tolerate a stiff wired mouse, and so some troubleshooting to make use of it in all games then I'd go for that one. As it's replaced my Ultimate because I find it to be more responsive, accurate, and feel better which I miss when I go back to 1,000 Hz. If you don't have the hardware, skill, or just simply don't care about 8,000 Hz (as it can also make you less accurate as if you jitter it will pick it up). Which is why some people still use 500 Hz over 1,000 Hz because it compensates more because it's less sensitive which makes people feel more accurate because the mouse doesn't pick up fine movement. Than I'd go for the Viper Ultimate. If price is an issue the Viper 8k is $80 and the Ultimate is ~$150 if you buy the dock and it isn't on sale. I'd be interested in hearing which one you go with and your thoughts on it.
@@ThomasMuehler im probably gonna go for 8khz one because i can tolerate a stiff wired mouse, ill just use 1000 hz on valorant till they support 8000 hz and money isn't a problem at all. I have 3 question though does the 8khz mouse weigh less or more? Do they have the same exact shape or what, whichever mouse has a better shape ill probably get that one. Last question Ive had a razer deathadder elite for 2 years (still works just want something better) but does that count as a stiff wired mouse if you have had a razer deathadder elite before? Because if it does then I can handle stiff wired mouses. Also my deathadder mouse gets stuck on the bottom part of my monitor so should i just get the wireless mouse? or get a bungee and what does a bungee do? also if you have used a Razer Mouse Grip Tape before does it help and is it worth it?
@@xJoyy I've found that 4,000 Hz works on every game I've tried (but I haven't tried valorant) and I would imagine at the very least 2,000 Hz would work fine which would still be better than 1,000 Hz. The Viper 8k is 71 grams. The Ultimate is 74 or 78 (depending on color). Yes, they are the same exact shape. I believe the wire on the Deathadder Elite would be the same if not a bit worse than on the Viper 8k. Again wireless comes down to personal preference. I don't understand what you mean by getting stuck on the bottom of your monitor. As for a mouse bungee it is personal preference. What that does is puts the wire up in the air more allowing for less drag and better cable management. And no I have not used Razer Mouse Grip Tape. I like my mice naked. lol I think I got everything if not let me know.

Update in 2023 here. Wild that 8,000 Hz polling has come to wireless mice now?! What?! Who what of thought? Not this guy.
So, which one are you going for? 1,000 Hz Polling but Wireless or 8,000 Hz Polling Wired? Or Neither?

@@bm_wuratli6883 What? I don't understand your question.
8,000 Hz is what is being sent to the mouse. Your monitor while being 240 Hz won't be translating 1 - 1. But you'll see an improvement on a 240 Hz compared to a 144 hz or 60 hz monitor. Most gaming mice are 1,000 hz.
@@bm_wuratli6883 That's strange. I added subtitles and they are working for me. Just double checked. If you can't get them to work I can send you the script.

Thanks man. Right back at you!
Such a detailed and great review, thanks a lot. And Superman: :D
Glad you enjoyed it. And also, thanks very much for the support and watching to the end. Always love to see that.

I'm using the Corsair K100 in the background. And I believe it is a custom preset. Where I'm using "Viser" which is a normal preset. With some other custom colors or something. It could also be their Pastel Preset. It's hard to tell from the video. If you'd like I can look closer when I get home.

lol I hope you enjoy it and would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Great video about this topic, have ordered a Razer Viper 8K to test for myself, looking forward to it
Im glad you enjoyed it. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Sorry but does this mouse require your computer to have a High-speed USB microcontroller?!
How do you check that?
It would also be harder to sell if the end user needed to have some newer USB microcontroller inorder to use the mouse! :-)

Really like your cover on the mouse and explanation on 8k polling rate.
hello, I have an RYZEN 5 2600X and AOC MONITOR 27''-75hz, what you pooling rate to use you can recomand for me?
Underrated channel. Great in depth review as always.
Much appreciated!
I had to use an USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 port on my motherboard to make 8000 Hz polling rate work. USB 2.0 was not enough.
That is correct.
@@ThomasMuehler if I remember I’ll definitely hit you up.
@@ThomasMuehler I’ve picked it up and love it. I play strictly warzone and it feels so ultra smooth. Now I did upgrade my pc as well so maybe that helped but I’ve never felt a better mouse in my life than this one
If i bought this mouse for £20, would this be a really good mouse? Is the sensor really good as a standard 1000hz mouse and consistant?
If you bought the Razer Viper 8 KHz it’s excellent mouse. Second best sensor on the market (focus+) only being beaten by the newly released Viper V2 Pro that has the Focus Pro sensor. It’s even more consistent than any standard 1,000 hz mouse. I’d argue this is one of the best wired mice on the market if not THE best.
@@ThomasMuehler I see, thanks! 😃
There's monitors that can measure the E2E delay. Any chance you can do a demo on this?
Oh man, I wish that I could. Unfortunately, I don't have one of those monitors, I'm broke, my channel is small so makes almost no money, due to my size I couldn't get it sponsored, or know anyone who has one of these monitors. Or else I totally would.
Just got one & it is perfectly fine in Apex now. Great review!
That's amazing news! I'm glad that it is working fully in Apex now. Thanks for the update, I'll definitely have to try it out.
Those are all built into the Focus+ as far as I know. So if it has the Focus+ sensor it has that feature. So, yes.

Superman.... So are you saying you had no problems at all at 4000hz and lower?
I appreciate the support and watching the whole review!
It has been a while since I tested anything. But whatever I said in this video and my review of the product is what I found. I noticed that at 2,000 Hz there were no issues for sure. At 4,000 Hz I don't remember anything either. But at 8,000 Hz I did run into some issues. But 8,000 Hz has become more normal since I released these videos so would ASSUME that things have improved in games with that becoming more normal. Also, PC components have gotten a lot faster and robust. So depending on when you last upgraded could perform better or worse.
Can I use the viper 8K
i5 7400

LG ULTRA GEAR 144Hz
16Gb RAM
SAMSUNG 970Evo plus
My Ryzen 3800x is about 50% more powerful than your I5 7400 and I can see it increasing my CPU but it isn't an issue as I still have good headroom. So, I'd be a little concerned about how yours would take it. I don't know if we would know for sure until you tried it out. But you may run into issues.
@@ThomasMuehler Sir Apart from 8K polling rate how's the overall mouse quality sensor performance I'm going to buy first time
@@Cooldude1991c I have a review on the mouse itself on my channel that I suggest watching.
@@ThomasMuehler Thank You what do you think of razer deathaddar V2

How can a single peripheral stress your CPU that much?
Are you gonna review the 8K hz keyboards?
I did a review on the Corsair K100 which has 4,000 Hz but then was upgraded to 8,000 Hz. I also bought a Razer Huntsman V2 TKL w/ Purple Switches that I'll probably be reviewing as well. So, yes.
should i buy the razar viper ultimate quartz pink?
That's only a question you can answer. If you aren't interested in 8K polling rate and are only looking for the best wireless mouse. Then in my opinion that is between the Razer Viper Ultimate or the G Pro X Superlight. Between those two it comes down to personal opinion. If I was going down the Viper Ultimate path I'd personally stick to one of the colored variants such as the Pink, White, or Cyberpunk.

6:30 that's why I have my 144 hz vg248qe running at 125 hz. 8000/125=64 1000/125=8. I know it's not a perfect 125hz but with 8 or 64 attempts per frame it's close enough.
I understand the reasoning behind that. But have you noticed an improvement with it though?
for me aimlab only works with 2khz :(
it feels so bad and sluggish compared to 8khz in other games.

Is It Good
For Bo3??
Assuming it works it's good for everything.
I bought the mouse but most games aren’t developed for the 8000hz

But the improvement is there.

i need a new mouse so should i get viper 8k or viper ultimate?
@@xJoyy
Hard to say as it really comes down to personal preference.
I like my mice naked. lol
I think I got everything if not let me know.

Titanic, I do appreciate the continued support that you've shown this channel in all aspects of watching the videos, commenting, etc. It means a lot.
@@ThomasMuehler ur welcome! U are simply just the Best tech youtuber that explains every little detail instead of just personal preference. The other tech youtubers sometimes are also a little lazy(In my opinion) cause the lightly skip the specs-part and goes over to shape(aka no research)

Honestly, since the update to Windows they did semi-recently I haven't noticed any frame drops in games.
