Was that the gay guy that had the underage boy at his house when E was there? He said something like "I can legally adopt him and be his father but not touch him." Not sure what the act line was.
That was a different producer in the show, and i think the quote was more like "i can adopt him, i just can't marry him". The Harvey character was a cruel ex-military guy that looked nearly identical to the real Harvey. He tried to fistfight Eric in a restaurant after a movie deal had fallen apart. (in the show).
Oh right. Man I swear that show was underrated. I feel like they actually capitred what real life is like. There's some real bastards in it and it's not fun. I've seen plenty of shows and jokes about that asswipe but they all made it one bit silly joke.
That show was fantastic. They captured New Yorkers perfectly. I love few hen feminists attack it tho it's a toxic, sexist, harmful show. Sex an d the city was a masterpiece of course.
Because one drugged and raped his victims, and one used his power to allow him to get away with committing sexual acts- in the latter case some girls got away and most are manipulated rather than actually over-powered. However, the fact that they are actually trying to make excuses for Harvey makes me sick.

So interesting how the description of Cosby was "dark and evil" but the description of Harvey was "he must be overwhelmed with guilt and self-hate and may be an addict." Why does Harvey get to be a victim, but Cosby doesn't? Be fair Joe. They're both dark and evil, so describe them both fairly and accurately. *rolls eyes
Kyky 101 some sympathy? He made it a joke, then went on to make juvenile sounds effects. Cosby is wicked but Weinstein is just "power hungry and gluttonous" lost a lot of respect for Joe. I knew there was a reason i never subscribed.
I'm not sure what Joe's response was when the news of Cosby first came out, but maybe it's just a matter of time. Meaning, they've come to terms with the grim realities of Cosby, but they have to work thru the whole Weinstein revelation. I don't give any of them as pass for sitting silent for all these years.
@@cdog9288 I mean she hasn't talked about it or mentioned it at all, and all her breakthrough movies are being the main character in a Weinstein company movie, which is unheard of for a nobody actress to be the main character. I'd never heard any of the stories or rumors about Cosby and when the story broke I was one of those people that thought, no way, this is a money grab. But then you hear the same story over and over about him drugging them AND an admission, under oath, in a civil suit years earlier where he admitted to providing a substance to relax the woman and it finally sunk in that Cosby did indeed rape all these women. And, more shocking even than that was the realization that he'd been using this MO since the mid 60's -- 50 fucking years. We may never know, but it is entirely possible that Cosby, America's dad, was the most prolific rapist in the entire history of the nation. If there is anything more shocking than all of that it is that people knew about this for decades, the networks he worked for knew it and yet they not only continued to employ and pay him but to threaten anyone that dared mention Cosby's secret.
These women knew exactly what they were getting. The clout of being near a rich and famous man.The Bobbles and presents that rich and famous men provide. And possibly huge financial gain if she can make him her husband . Will women ever take responsibility for their own actions? I haven’t seen it yet……
He felt not one of those emotions, the only thing he felt was “damn, I got caught, how much I gotta pay?” He didn’t feel bad, or feel bad for any victims he hurt, the only thought he ever had was “poor me”
+Will. What are you going to do with rumors? If you publicly accuse somebody as powerful as Cosby or Weinstein of a crime such as rape without any proof, based solely on rumors, then you open yourself up to a slander lawsuit.

" What we're seeing is his missed pitches". What that means for us is that there are probably at least a dozen major A list females and males for that matter who's so-called lucky break into the film industry was performing sexual acts for producers or directors. and these are the people who wanted this to never blow up and never become a national headline thing because if it continued they would be exposed too as frauds who did not achieve stardom legitimately. So every time some producer or director gets someone to sleep with them or rapes them I think in many or even most cases they are actually adding another person who will side with them against someone making accusations. so if you are someone like Harvey Weinstein the pressure is on to make sure every girl you force yourself on ends up ultimately with a career giving them a 40 60 80 even 200 million dollar net worth so that they have something to lose. When it's someone with nothing to lose like Rose McGowan that's when you get trouble.
Yeah but no one's dropping names cause no one knows exactly who done the deed for their career. I don't think Weinstien (however the hell you spell it) is gonna drop any names since none of them are blowing the horn on him. Who would have any proof? Nobody.
Blake Reigns agree., but sadly just like in drug cartels, they only go for the big fish and let the chain go on because sadly, many people make money out of this type of bad things 🤷🏽♂️🍺
Even people who are heralded as hero’s for confronting him like Brad Pitt did were still willing to work with Harvey. And that’s why it was able to continue for years even when it was known by the industry.
Bill Cosbys Spanish fly routine was based on sort of like word of mouth getting spread amongst young males looking to get laid in the mid sixties. out in the mid 60s real world you would still hear males who want to get laid talking about this substance they called Spanish fly that you can put in the females drink and make them lose all sexual inhibitions and want sex from you. this stuff did not just knock them unconscious so that you could just be a perv and have sex with a sleeping female.if you find that routine of his probably on TH-cam you will hear it's not the same thing as what he did.
@@martinishot sixty years ago my college embryology professor, on the subject of the Spanish fly approach to romance, opined to the young man who brought it up, "If you care that much for a girl, once you finish with her, why don't you just go ahead and push her in front of a train?"
Those woman came out against Weinstein when they realized their careers had been over for years. Harvey promised them long and lustrous careers, maybe they feel betrayed. But I know if they were still having to hook up with him for parts in MCU they wouldn’t be complaining at all. It was a service, all these woman knew what they were doing.
I think it's because Weinstein did not take your physical power away you could still run and say no. With Bill you done once you take a zip, slightly more messed up.
Guilt and remorse? Absolute bullshit. He feels sorry for himself and no one else. As others have pointed out, people knew. People who are still famous and working, they knew and said nothing!

Rogan describing the taste of Harvey's load, then the sound...i f'n lost it. Gross but Lmfao. Those celebs know and have benefited from those sexcapades, now they wanna cry. Boo f'n hoo. His tendencies were well known in Hollywood. Their was a character in Entourage named Harvey Winegarden who was based on Harvey Weinstein.
(in the show).
lol
Why are they being so soft on Harvey, but hard on Bill?
gee, idk, scratching my head on this one -_-
Because one drugged and raped his victims, and one used his power to allow him to get away with committing sexual acts- in the latter case some girls got away and most are manipulated rather than actually over-powered. However, the fact that they are actually trying to make excuses for Harvey makes me sick.
white people still swearing by unproven allegations and making excuses for the fat jew that admitted it and had it literally as part of his contract and caught tape recorded. y'all just pathetic
Crosby was loved n super well known so people care about him more than some Harvey

Can't believe how okay these people are with abuse of power and prostitution in exchange for movie rolls, this shit is degrading, even if these girls "agreed" to do this and got the job, the regret and self-hatred aferwards could be horrible, not to mention that participatin in this keep the practice alive and put women in a such a low position in the industry.
Who is okay with this?
I don't know, If it is agreed upon 2 consenting adults then that's on them. I don't agree with it but that'd up to them. Hopefully you make the right choices
@@JohnDoe-vr3ey it's not really consensual though if women are told they HAVE to do something in order to keep their careers intact. How is that fair? It's manipulation at it's finest
It's why I left Hollywood. I'd go to auditions & see TERRIBLE actresses get parts. .. the whole casting couch thing is real. Once word got out that I didn't exchange anything at the auditions casting people never gave me the time of day. Gross.
*rolls eyes
I've never found Rogan's comedy noteworthy, but this was hilarious.
This should be in everyone’s recommend
I agree with shit on Cosby, but REAL funny how it was some sympathy when discussing Harvey Weinstein!
Kyky 101 some sympathy? He made it a joke, then went on to make juvenile sounds effects. Cosby is wicked but Weinstein is just "power hungry and gluttonous" lost a lot of respect for Joe. I knew there was a reason i never subscribed.
Harves victims were at least awake.
Drugging people and raping unconscious bodies is another level of depravity way passed Harvey Weinstein shit.
What grim reality, nothing has been proven in court and tons of these old hags have contradicted themselves and dropped out of the lottery race.

He managed to make me hate caviar and asparagus in the same sentence.

Nobody.
This went on for years...those who let it happen/turned their heads, should be held accountable too. God help us. 🙏

Does anybody else remember Cosby's routine, "Spanish Flies?
Lawrence Elliott nop
