It's closer to the regular draco size. It's got an 11 and some change inch barrel. The mini draco has a 7.7inch barrel. The regular draco is 12 and some change.

I had a PAC9 and hated the fugly handguard. Can't rest put a wood stock on it, because it helps hold the mag adapter on. Got a NAK9 on the way. Also ordered a CNC Warrior folding brace. Might order the red sharkfin handguard set from PSA also. 😎✌️

I opted for the Palmetto State Armory 9mm AKV with their 35rnd CZ style mags. Awesome gun.
I agree with you. This gun could have been so good! I like the orignal draco look, but they could have done a few things betterm like a metal wagwell, and a better recoil system. The plastic buffers wont last i think. With that being said, they are very reliable and super fun suppressed!
Ppl say they perfer a brace but in my opinion it looks weird with a AK pistol. But a brace on a ar pistol looks nice
Quite an affordable 9mm submachine gun. But what is it good for other then eating 9mm bullets.
Pistol caliber Carbines are a good choice for home defense.
The added barrel length and right ammo give similar or better penetration results than a .357. 30+ rounds of that for home defense works for me.
I saw an unanswered question on whether or not these will feed hollow point ammo well. Are they ammo picky? Of course with 33 rounds I'm sure even plinkers will stop that bump in the night..

About to post a video, I did a pak9 vs Nak9 comparison. I ended up putting a brace on the Pak9 and posted it on Instagram and Facebook. It was awesome!
@@GunsWithGage awesome. I order a ballistic advantage 8.3" 9mm barrel and a slick upper receiver no forward assist. Now that I finally found a bomb proof Glock AR lower at americanresistancegear their last round bolt hold open is bomb proof even on FA. We did a Shoot with those guys last week and I was impressed.

I just wish that they had a magazine well for a Colt SMG mag or Scorpion mags. The Glock/Beretta mags just look wrong in there.

@@GunsWithGageIf I heard you correctly in your video, once the Glock mag adapter is removed, it will take Beretta mags. If so, it seems that someone could produce an adapter for the CZ Scorpion mags as well. I just saw the new version AKV 9s from PSA will NOT be accepting those 35-round mags that they originally promoted for dual use in the AKV and Scorpions, and are not going to continue production. A good oppty for CAI or someone to mill one for the Draco NAK9.
@@danielbevarly8105 that's right! It would be a simple design. Mayhe I can draw something up on cad and find a producer. It would be pretty easy. I need to pick up a scorpion for measurements. My favorite magazine idea for these is: remove the mag adapter completely, then it will "accept" regular 7.62x39 mags. Then you cut the top portion of a 7.62x39 mag and weld in whatever metal mag you choose!! Sten mag etc. Then you can rock and lock without the need for plastic adapters. Only downside is, you gotta make all your own mags haha
@@GunsWithGage Let me know how it goes. I wrote to CAI to take up that challenge. You can pick up one of those mags at PSA on clearance (link below). Also, just moving to a curved mag would improve the aesthetics 10X for the NAK9. I decided to purchase the Draco now instead of waiting on the AK-V since they decided to go with a proprietary mag. Off rip, the first time I shot this with the “stock” KCI 33 round mag, it jammed every other round. Feeding problems to be exact. The bullet kept getting caught on the feeding ramp. I then bought a RWB 16 round mag and it had similar problems but not as bad. Both magazines seem to have excessive play in the mag well also. Bought an OEM Glock magazine and It seems to fit a lot more snug. Hopefully everything works out this time.
What kinda ammo your shooting bro? I had the same problem. It was the lead bullets. I switch to all gold fmj. Everything shot flawlessly
Should I get this or the 7.62x39 Draco? I have an actual ak just want a Draco for the collection
get the 7.62x3 micro if its just for a collection. Id get the NAK9 if you want to shoot it and actually use it. Its a blast with a suppressor!
Same I didn’t know which one I wanted but I got the 9 mm Draco mostly because I want to take it to the range and shoot it. More indoor range friendly

This seems pointless. The whole point of a draco is big caliber, small handheld AK package. 9mm defeats the whole purpose of this form factor

Can someone please answer this question I'm buying one for my self for Christmas but, what brand of high capacity magazine (50+) would work? I really want a drum but don't wanna buy one and it doesn't fit
Any 9mm Glock magazine will fit. The korcean kci drums even work well for me
Thanks so much, I'm purchasing my "Christmas gift" (little late but my wife is the best) today and I'm very excited. This helped me so much with understanding the gun itself and some extra feats I wouldn't know of (rolling trigger feel, the whole magazine adaption, and to make sure I put that top part in right) but can I ask, do you have a personal one you can show us how to put the 4 rail on it (like replace the standard wood grip with a rail?)
@@highlvlgaming9876 hey Jason! I have not changed out the handgaurd on this model, but they are the same as a regular AK. I have replaced the wood on the micro Draco models in 7.62x39 that require drilling and tapping

Yes you can! I just out a brace on this one and put it up for sale
Average Spaceman I put the Magpul handguard on my Nak9 it requires some fitting because of the mag well adapted. You have to remove about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch off the back of the lower handguard will have video up on my channel very soon.

If your dust cover/top cover is loose, there is not a lot you can do. You can buy another top cover though, and trim it to fit. They make the new covers a little too long so you can file them down for a perfect fit.

I think all the Draco Ak47 pistol models are very ugly especially this particular gun your reviewing. The PAK9 AK pistol is a much better looking gun than the AK47 pistols in my opinion.
