- Nak9 Mini Draco 9mm ak first impressions. Ak-47 type pistol in 9x19. This is one of the most fun guns that I've shot in a while. It has alot of potential! Hopefully the fun will last! Being made in Romania, we should be able to expect some decent parts quality and longevity. Stay tuned for mods and more fun!

1:26, You don't need the handguard, but it adds to the beauty of the AK. Yeah, I'm not into any all polymer blacked out AK.
Attero arms mounts are solid. I have one on my 7.62 build and its held zero for the last two years up to 200 yards

Some day, the A T F is gonna change things regarding that brace. All of them actually. You made the argument for them. Not saying I agree with the govt at all, but they did say at least twice that the bumpstocks were legal.
I totally agree with you. The A T F is a terrible organization of NON elected people operating without bounds against the US constitution.
The original comment was talking about the pistol brace. The intention of the pistol brace is for it to be attached to the forearm. If you shoulder the brace it becomes a SBR. The temptation not to shoulder the brace is too great. The ATF could make a ruling that this pistol brace is being used as a shoulder stock and people will have to pay the tax stamp.
My problem with the ATF and their determinations is that they aren’t based in science or logic. What’s saying that stocks and braces, overall length, barrel length, suppressors, yadda yadda ya, etc. is more dangerous, lethal, destructive, concealable than something else. They are political decisions, not scientific.
Sermex flomex Unless the ATF can do a takesy backseys on their determination and disregard that we change our mind, they already sent their infamous letter stating that SB Tactical braces were okay to shoulder and doesn’t constitute a violation of blah blah blah.
But like I said, get a gun controlling democrat in office they’ll start doing tap dancing for them since their is a new hand in the puppet.

Don't agree with you about hand position. They're called handguards for a reason. Why not remove the cheapo rail and put on an AK Master Mount?
On the handgaurd, I am used to running 7.62 Ak's this way. The handgaurds get hot so fast, they are not usable without gloves. Not regular range trips, I'm talking prolonged fire and multiple stage matches. Also, I'm left handed, so holding the magwell works great for accessing the safety. Idk just personal preference.
The dust cover mount is good enough for what I use the gun for. The master mount with an rs regular or something adds too much bulk for a sub 100yrd pcc. If never want the dust cover mount on a rifle caliber fun for sure.

I have the atero mount on my 7.62 and love it....why will it work on the pak9 and not the nak. I thought they were basically the same gun minus barrel length and handguards. If you could only have 1...which would you chose

It's a brace, not a stock. A stock is illegal on a pistol unless you register it as an sbr.

If I understand correctly, these use the same receiver as the 7.62x39? So, then I ask, can it be converted to shoot 7.62x39?

How did you get the swivel off?
I bought a cheap 11 mm open end wrench then dremmiled to roughly half thickness and then I was able to unscrew it.

Does anyone make a mag adapter for the Nak9 to use the curved Kalashnikov 9mm mags?
Why would anyone SBR anything when SBA3/4 braces exist?
How does the SBA3 attach? I'm looking to get a Nak9 but they just have a sling mount on the back
The SBA3 is an ar15 part, so you will need to use a buffer tube. There are a few ways to get it done. Stormwerkz has some really good adapter parts. Also, SB tactical has some options. The way I do it is by using an ACE pig nose buffer tube adapter, and i drilled and tapped the rear trunnion to attach it. Then i have a rock solid mount for any buffer tube.
