We have a new reason every year to explain why we are where we are, but i genuinely believe this year was a complete failure because of Ricky Martin. The stories coming out of the club are mind blowing and since Walters took over the spirit of the squad and fans has just been rocketing. A lot of players signed this season but we do have some players showing a lot of ability (Burger, Junho, Manhoef) - A good window needed to build around these players, 5 or 6 signings instead of 25 too means a more settled core squad, and Walters will ensure the right types get brought in. Won’t be silly predicting big things like a lot of Stokies but I think we should see improvements next year, 12th should be the target, and not just finishing there but hovering around that spot for the most part of the season with no worries of going down would be great.
Such a relief to get the win on Saturday. We were unbelievably lucky but were probably due some after recent weeks.
Now we know how Ipswich have felt for much of the season 😂
Argyle had a bit of a weird one. Things were fairly even until some scenes when our Keeper, Cooper, has an altercation with one of Stoke's, and both teams jioned in, and handbags time. Then Stoke seemed to find some team spirit they've apparently lacked all season and played like they should be able to. We, on the other hand, are dying on the vine with both Hardie and Whittaker well off form. Unless they manage to find something in the next two, I think our goose is cooked.
My take on the bottom 3.
If Coventry win on Wednesday I fear Blackburn may lose the last 2.
Birmingham vs Huddersfield - Who knows (hopefully blues come through and get the win)
I fancy blues to get a win vs Norwich last day (granted Norwich are safe in the playoffs by then)
Wednesday - hard game vs baggies I reckon 1 point maximum for them and then a win vs Sunderland last day.
Huddersfield - I fear the worst for unless they can get a win vs us Saturday (very likely the way we’re both playing)
Final prediction
Birmingham 50
Wednesday 50
Blackburn 49
Huddersfield 47
(All could change depending on the Coventry game in the week
For Ipswich it may be best if Birmingham takes all 3 points
Surely jimmy dunnes goal vs Birmingham is better than wes burns?
Will watch this later laying in bed, but thought I’d give my views, As a Ipswich fan, it’s felt weird seeing all the others play, Tgink Leicester are up, Hoping Boro can get something against Leeds, which I believe would leave it in your hands, if we win all the remaining games we’re up, Wish we didn’t have 3 games in the final week,
dont count your pigeons just yet
or your owls
Southampton will win the play offs , Leeds won't make automatic and their players are mentally weak .. I don't think they have the bottle
And you know this why?
@@conshea7382 They are a time traveler obviously.
Mentally weak or young and unexperienced?
@Rtd22375 brave man to back Southampton. Russell Martin teams always bottle it
As a wednesday fan the wokemeister Moore spell at Huddersfield was perfect.
