The funniest part is that Edge is one of the few browsers that can stream netflix in 1080p (chrome is limited to like 480 or 720 I think?), but people still refuse to use it xD

Yeah -1 Chromosome uses a lot. Opera GX is much better imo. Had used Chromosome a while but Opra GX has VPN, ads block, ram n cpu limiter build in. As well as an video over game feature. Overall a very good browser (and oh yeah, also moved from google to duckduckgo for extra privacy)

I once used add/remove programs to delete Internet Explorer and then went through its file system deleting everything I could, one piece at a time, and corrupted all of the folders by changing their base settings. As long as I had that computer, every time something would try to access Internet Explorer, it would just get stuck and have to be closed via task manager.

is ram really an issue nowadays though? Chrome does use a lot of ram, but if you're running the norm of 16gb nowadays, you should be fine. I can run WoW, FF14, chrome(streaming) and a sitewhile getting info from a site like wowhead and still have ram to spare. My processor wants to murder me, but my ram is fine.

to be more accurate, chrome should rapidly turn so fat it takes up the entire couch, leaving the user barely any space to sit. Then proceeds to download firefox (britt), and all is well again.
And then when firefox starts crushing like 7 times out of 10, you immediately look for sth else to switch to. That's when opera comes in handy. Never failed me even once.

Haha I do this exact thing everytime on a fresh install of Windows. They used to have a pop-up message when switching defaults as a last ditch effort to try and get you to use edge. But I think they got the hint and removed that message.

@@carter2865 chrome is second fastest after firefox, that chrome is doing better. But firefox lately has a lot of crashes when it releases new update. Yes chrome uses a little bit more ram, but thats why it actually works faster. If it would use like 10mb of ram, you would download the page faster than you open it. I have 4 tabs on chrome open now, 300mb of ram, and 3 pages on edge open, 275 mb of ram.

Firefox is also good for porn but I can't deny chrome is faster and has better and faster results.

I'm actually using edge for the first time since I built my first pc in 2002 😀 It literally does anything chrome can, with half as much RAM wasted.. only issue I found so far was with translating websites.. it's a little buggy
I don't mind Edge I use both it and Firefox depending what I'm doing and the device I'm using.
This popped up in my Perfume filled recommendations. I love edge (triangle mix) a lot, chrome is great as well, but needs an official release xD
