I gotta say, Soulmate was a truly beautiful "skit". Although, as an NPC, she is not supposed to remember it, she seemed to still have that memory stored at the back of her mind somewhere. This is a seriously well-made, movie-standard "skit" that captures the moment perfectly. This channel really deserves more recognition.

I feel like some devs should just do this as a prank in their RPG. Deliberately misleading dialogue prompts. Would be hilarious. Provided there is quicksave/quickload of course...
My friend.. some devs do this without any prank in their heads, just pure laziness to write dialog, I mean have you ever payed Bethesda or BioWare games ? This is exactly their way to shortcut phrases in the dialogs 😂
@@deimonk2384Calling it laziness seems unfair. Also, I absolutely guarantee you that 99.99% of the bad design decisions, were made by CEO's and managers, not the developers.

I could totally imagine an awesome sketch where after they take gregs wife away from him he becomes overcome with anger and venegeance. We find out that all this time he was only living a simple life as a garlic farmer because he is retired and used to be a highly trained assassin. The sketch would have greg go on a mission to take down the gangster developers who murdered his wife and child. The sketch could play out like those movie recap videos. Title could be "Evil developers kill a farmers wife and child not realising he was a deadly assassin".
Gotta love the fairly-common disconnect between the few-word click-prompt for a dialogue choice, and the whole utterance that comes out when you select it. Thanks, game-dialogue writers. lol.

@@GwenActually me playing stardew over and over again once a year to make Abigail as happy as can be before her birthday
8:00 This video put me through the ringer years ago. SOOOO well done.
Liam is such a romantic. I'm not sure someone could handle that HUGE level of romance 😂
Romance and Soulmate were my favorites. So relatable and both women are gorgeous. Love Britt's longer hair. But the Wife Update for Greg was just so well done.
Who was the actress in romance?
@@showmethefacts4061 No idea, but she's beautiful with a lovely accent.
The "Soulmate" episode is the most amazing thing you guys ever filmed. It's so touching that after a year I still come back to watch. Every time I get to the part of "I will never forget you" and "repeat quest?" I shed a tear 😢
I never noticed before but it's no wonder Greg hates Djeoph so much in NPC D&D. After all the patch removed his wife is... THE DJEOPH UPDATE 2. Also reading the patch notes for the first time was hilarious.
9:06 “i will never forget you”
so sad and beautiful. the feeling of loss and attachment even when nothing is real.
amazing observation, writing, and acting. you made me tear up 😭❤
Honestly, when Greg gets tinfoiled the next time by tinfoil man, he should go on a quest in search of Greta
Damn. I had to pause at 22:15 and really admire that painting. Looks like an actual model with all that lighting. Never really saw that person like that before. Heart melting!
You guys as Geralt and Jaskier are incredible😂. And the bruxa effects!
These guys had more romance in their game comedy than entire Hollywood put together. 😂
Thank you for doing ACTUAL original content, let alone it being clever, witty and well produced. You deserve every one of your 6 million subscribers. Merry Christmas 2023.
22:53 “spiders made more visible so puppies don’t get killed accidentally” 😂😂😂 love that throw back
"I will never forget you"
This is the saddest episode.
Brings me to tears.
0:05 Silly Rowan, forgot to quicksave before roll checks.
Every time I see Greg's wife taken from him, it hits me right in the feels. Greg needs to get his wife back!!
Yeees that's what I'm saying
Hits you right in the feels? What in the world..
That is one hell of a romance option at the beginning.
I feel like some devs should just do this as a prank in their RPG. Deliberately misleading dialogue prompts. Would be hilarious. Provided there is quicksave/quickload of course...
How would you tell them from the accidently misleading prompts we currently get?
My friend.. some devs do this without any prank in their heads, just pure laziness to write dialog, I mean have you ever payed Bethesda or BioWare games ? This is exactly their way to shortcut phrases in the dialogs 😂
Search for "The Witcher 3 shove Dijkstra Aside". Silly me thought that I would just shove him aside, but there was a little surprise 😂
@@deimonk2384Calling it laziness seems unfair.
Also, I absolutely guarantee you that 99.99% of the bad design decisions, were made by CEO's and managers, not the developers.
Witcher 3 had similar dialog option with Dijkstra
It said "push him", and if you pick it Geralt will punch Dijkstra to the ground and break his leg
7:57 first VLDL vid I ever saw and it moved me to tears almost. Very well done, still one of, if not the, best.
Alan somehow encapsulates Jaskier so incredibly well! I really hope that there will be a Witcher season 2 from VLDL!! And if Mr. Rob Hartley happens to work in some Witcher references into their D&D game, I think I would die a happy man. Much love and keep up the phenomenal work y'all!!
These kinds of skits are just blatant fan service. Please do more.
Adam's face during the kiss skit is just something else 😂👌
The first one, yes her, wow. The actress was amazing with the facial cues, and body language. And amazingly gorgeous as well!
9:55 Damn, Rowan showing his acting skills for real.
You guys have the most wonderful ability to make hilarious skits and then just sock you in the feels. "I will never forget you" just... POW!
Greg needs to override his code and give out quests to find his wife.
You are so incredible! So much emotion everytime!
The Greg's wife and soulmate makes my heart melt everytime.
And oh boy is the girlfriend's one making me laugh everytime!
You nailed it so well, that's amazing!
I love how the second Love Meter is not “We are two men, this will never work.” but it's “ I am an NPC and you are a player this won't work” We need a series where the player and the NPC are in love and the player helps the NPC to become a player so they are both free.
"We messed up by giving Greg happiness" LMAO
I could totally imagine an awesome sketch where after they take gregs wife away from him he becomes overcome with anger and venegeance. We find out that all this time he was only living a simple life as a garlic farmer because he is retired and used to be a highly trained assassin. The sketch would have greg go on a mission to take down the gangster developers who murdered his wife and child.
The sketch could play out like those movie recap videos. Title could be "Evil developers kill a farmers wife and child not realising he was a deadly assassin".
That would be fun
He could even bring Poppy to the carnage... 🐑
Let's GOOOOOOO
"I have very specific set of skills."
"That include garlic farming, shepherding and silently, stealthily cutting throats."
@@kenle2Not sure you could include shepherding as a skill. His sheep are always run amuck.
Gotta love the fairly-common disconnect between the few-word click-prompt for a dialogue choice, and the whole utterance that comes out when you select it. Thanks, game-dialogue writers. lol.
05:55 I really felt that 😢. It reminded me of myself, many people might think that Greg is stupid not to be able to see such an obvious lie but trust me, I was also such a fool.
Soulmate segment giving me flashbacks of having an exceptional approva ratingl from Karlach w/o clearing her romance flags.
"Yes, I'll go to Avernus with you and devote myself to being your really good friend."
I put some random background music on for ambiance as DM for my kids playing DND the other day, and this Honeywood village theme came on. We all cracked up!
That second sketch with Britt and Alan reminds me of a few of my past relationships. She would just skip through until I got to giving her the money. Then off with another dude.
0:28 that idle pose - she is killin' it. I'd fall for her instantly if I would have to play that scene. Well done. :D
Hey, guys, for a humor channel, you left in a couple heart wrenchers.
