And just wait till you get to the episode Understanding Willow (S1, E15), it has some major revelations for how close Willow and Amity were when they were tiny, and what ultimately came between them.

@@MorgyMorg you’ll be feeling ALOT of emotions with understanding willow ( episode 15) all the way up until the season finale ( episode 19). Those 4 episodes are a roller coaster ride of emotions. Anger and sadness just being one of the emotions.

Can’t wait for you to get to episodes 12 Adventures In The Elements, 13 The First Day, 15 Understanding Willow, 16 Enchanting Grom Fright, and 17 Wing It Like Witches. The gay is strong with these episodes lol, they also have amazing writing in them as well but the gay overshadows all lol.

Okay I know it’s like, 6 months late but I had to say something I noticed when watching the twins and how they explain their reasoning to Luz. They use the phrasing like “she *needs* this” and “we’re her family, it’s what’s *best* for her” instead of saying she deserves it.
I think in their mind, along with justifying it (even when it’s not justifiable) is also them genuinely believing that this is how you learn lessons: Obey or you’re weaknesses will be exploited. This comes back again in Escaping Expulsion when Odalia has Luz and co. expelled from Hexside because they’re “distracting” Amity and again when she forced her to cut off contact with Willow. Her language is also similar when she tells Luz, “We’re *teaching* our daughter *a valuable lesson* in business”. I think the twins are in the same predicament of not being allowed friends (since we haven’t seen any and the picture Dana posted on twitter with the twins visibility upset because they were stood up at Grom) as well as feeling trapped like they’re part of a “set”.
That’s just a theory because of their similar personalities but also clothing combined with the knowledge that their mother likes her children ‘color coordinated’.
It’s because of that I think they also did the whole library thing out of jealousy that Amity was gaining friends when they couldn’t (as of now, it seems they only have each other). If that’s right then it gives a whole new meaning to their worst fears: Being alone forever (Ed) and Being stuck with you forever (Em). While partially a joke, I think she was more accurately thinking about only having Ed and no one else for her whole life, meanwhile Ed is almost the opposite because he wouldn’t know what to do without her because she’s all he’s got.
Moral of the Story: I’m autistic, it’s 2 am, my special interest is TOH and I love the twins and pay far too much attention to them.
The next three episodes you're doing are all fairly solid: Escape of the Palisman, Sense and Insensitivity, and Adventures in the Elements. All three are fairly solid, though Palisman and Elements are great, with Elements being the standout among the three.
(Spoiler, but not really) Adventures in the Elements is the next episode with more Amity.

The one thing I really think the show could do better at is explaining how Eda stays hidden. Even if the Owl House itself has magic that hides her, she hardly ever seems to be concerned about walking around out in the open, making it very jarring when we're suddenly supposed to take her being a fugitive seriously again.

Yeah, she walks around, but she doesn't draw attention to herself. The times that she does (8 and 14) she gets caught.
