I went though this five years ago lost my edges they weaved my hair with no extra hair it pulled NY edges you want to go your edges you must used Amla, oil leaving treatment it bot going to work over night, but if u stop messing with your hair GWT a wig and add this oil every night slot massage your scalp. And yes it will grow for sure I have more hair now long and edges are back. I had bald spot its was awful. Please buy this it will work. I still use it. I stop relaxing my hair. Do not wash your hair just continue using it he oil. I wash my hair every two month for my natural oil to blend with the amla, oil. There are different forms of alopecia and seeing a dermatologist can help. I think alopecia isn’t talked about enough in the black community. It’s not always wearing weave that’s the problem. Cutting your hair or going natural isn’t always a cure for bald edges/hairlines. I did the big chop thinking it would help, but my hair grew back and no hair in the same areas where I was bald. Alopecia can be due to hormonal changes etc. it’s best to see a dermatologist to see if it’s reliable.
My daughter had alopecia when she was a baby until 6 yrs old. I found an india homemade herbal shampoo that cured it. Use neem, fenugreek, aloe vera powder, tusli (holy basil) and alma (all powder forms)… boil, strain and use as shampoo.

Sweetheart! Thank you for the video. You did a beautiful job. I am a 60 year old sister and I also have Alopecia in the same areas of my head. It was worse about a year and a half ago. I stopped with the chemicals and any type of fraction that will cause hair loss. I decided going natural. I wish you could see my edges today from a year and a half ago. I spray clean water on my scalp and I also made my own oils which has helped with the restoration of some of my edges. I didn't think I would ever see them again. But God is Good! And with him all things are possible! Peppermint, Tee Tree, and Rosemary oils are my main go-to-oils. I haven't stopped using without let up. Last by least, massaging the scalp will also help the hair to grow.
OMG this was great. I happened to stumble across your channel and have been struggling with my edges since I was a child due to abuse and stress. This was God sent. I am now going to be able to wear my hair in ponies and pulled back. Thank you so much for being so transparent in doing and showing this. God bless you!
Focus on what’s long term for your scalp and let it breathe without weave. A short cute style with the front covering the alopecia Will do wonders for you Queen!!!
That's just awesome the way you did your hair, it's like beautiful and so are you. I also have alopecia with clean areas all over my head, and I don't know what to do with it except wear wigs.
Your hair is not only beautiful but that you did it yourself is absolutely amazing. I lost the hair on my edges when I was a teenager. It’s never grown back but I’ve always found ingenious ways to style my hair while concealing the bald patches. Well done you❤
My sister's edges were always thin, the more she got her hair done with various styles the more they became bald! I would tell her if u leave your hair alone & treat your edges they will grow back When she dreaded her hair & stopped stressing her edges & with treatment! The slick bald edges started fuzzing in! 1 year later after 20 years she has edges! Everyone should know that eventho some can't grow hair back alot of u woman can & should probably try different methods! Sometimes we need to go long periods without hairstyles stressing edges & treatments. It's worth a try! B.c everyone doesn't have alopecia, some of us just need better hair regimes!!! Mine started falling out until I found me a healthy hairstylist, & she let's me know when it's time for a hair break. Mine was thinning in the top, it was heartbreaking!!! This video reminds me of me & my sister's hair, & I commend the creator❤ for sharing this technique.

I saw a comment from a kind Mexican woman (I'm puerto rican) and whenever I see a black woman doing her hair on youtube that thought comes to mind a lot-damn they are so friggin creative and smart! Like you guys are just like-"I just thought to do it this way so I'm trying it here" and I'm floored like how the heck do they come up with this stuff? I love your courage and willingness to share this. It breaks my heart, ladies don’t end up in this place with these weaves, tracks and glues…God bless you though hon, you are a beautiful young lady
Traction alopecia . This is so sad. This is how bad my hair looked. I stayed away from braids and relaxers for two years . Most of it grew back. On to the hair, you did a beautiful job. Wish I knew how to do hair.
You did that... The way I'm set up and sweating like crazy I won't have a strand left in my head by the end of the day... I can see myself now telling folks to mind ya business cause I will be looking a hott ass mess I sweat to much in my head You got it all figured out though I dig it.
😂 I actually sweat more than the average person too, so I understand. But there’s something on the market called “No Sweat Scalp Antiperspirant “ I have never used it, but I heard it works. So maybe try spraying that on prior to doing your edges 💕if you would like to give this method a try .
I have watched a lot of hair videos on TH-cam and one thing I know for a fact is this, nobody can work hair like a black woman. I don't care what it is you need they will deliver!!

Good Job, reminds me of making fake baby hair back in the day but you took it to another level. Sometimes we just want a cute hair style that makes us feel confident! You did that!
I feel like we have lost our way when people can not express themselves truthfully, Everybody is not being mean if they don't agree with her choices on how she handles alopecia.. if you put something out for the public, people will agree& disagree that's how this public platform works.. Do you have to be rude on commenting absoutely not! But people need to stop accepting bullying if somebody doesn't agree with your difference of opinions
OMG you did an AMAZING JOB 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 My sides are basically just like yours but I shaved it into a Mohawk style 🤷🏾♀️🤣 I actually love it and got tired of being so restricted on how I could wear my hair. I am so proud of you for being brave…. I know this took courage 🥰❤️🙏🏾
Now I’m no expert, but It’s not weave itself that’s bad (unless it’s in too tight) it’s moreso the way in which we take our hair down, and maintain it while in these styles. Those are the most the crucial things to know. That can literally make or break someone’s hair if done wrong… I’m an advocate for preventative measures to take to reduce the chance of hair loss.
Girl my hair is identical to yo-yo and I have more hair loss I like how you laid the tracking directly on your scalp I’m definitely trying this and you have a new subbie and you are so pretty girl u got a got a gift
I need to watch this again. My edges fell out because of my diabetes medicine. Mine & my daughter’s edge looks just like yours. Thank you for sharing. I’m going to show this to her too.❤

See, this is the kind of content we miss seeing on TH-cam; the authenticity‼️ Great vid & great job💯🙌🏼🎯❤️
Thank you! 😄💕
You’re beautiful and this was amazing… thank you for being courageous for all of us who are stil hiding
Thank you 🙏🏾 💓
Wow, I think it looks absolutely gorgeous. And so do you, you're Soo beautiful, just wanted to tell you that💕☺️. I have hair loss issues too and have to wear lace front wigs to hide it all & feel confident & beautiful again. I wish I could have my hair back but I'm just grateful that lace front wigs exist & are getting better & better with time & more pre-customizations done to them. It's admiring that you put yourself out there showing your hair loss for all to see & doing it to help others . You're awesome girl 😉! Hope you have a beautiful day. - Jen 🙂
🙏🏾😄 thank you, happy hair journey to you!
@@build-a-girl thank you sweetie 😘
Gurlll!! Talk about creative!! Thank you for sharing and also your selflessness in helping others who may also suffer from Alopecia!
You’re very welcome! … Thanks for tuning in!
Wow! You're absolutely stunning, being that you did not use a filter. Your skin is gorgeous. You're also very talented. You're very beautiful and don't let anyone tell you different.
Thank you 🙏🏾💗
You did a beautiful job...mind you it is always harder to do your own hair❤️ keep up the great work and I love the final look
Absolutely stunning I love it. You taught me how to do a new hairstyle. Ignore the negative comments your hair came out wonderful.
Thank you 💓😁
You did a wonderful job on your hair sweetie… wow!!
Thank you 😁💓☺️
To the haters. Its so simple - How bout You do you & I'll do me !! Beautiful job glad you found way to do you !!!
Perfect...it even states in her bio of her condition, but so many jump straight to a conclusion of what she is doing wrong and that is Y she has no edges....🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Thank you for leaning into your authentic self with confidence, comfort and creativity. Beautiful hair!
The amount of skill and care it takes to do this is incredible. You look gorgeous!
Thank you so much!!😊
Wow I never thought something like this would Be possible. Super impressed and you did a beautiful job! I wish more people knew about this video. Wow!
😍
🫶🏾😁💕
Thanks!
Hello! Oh wow that’s great, Thanks for sharing that! 💕 I’m glad your hair was able to be restored.
@@build-a-girl You welcome!
God bless!!!!
Now that's perfection! I love it. I learned so much in such a short time.
This looks beautiful and natural. She is AMAZING!!
OMG this was great. I happened to stumble across your channel and have been struggling with my edges since I was a child due to abuse and stress. This was God sent. I am now going to be able to wear my hair in ponies and pulled back. Thank you so much for being so transparent in doing and showing this. God bless you!
You’re very welcome, I’m glad it helped. I totally understand 🥹 God bless you! 🙏🏾😘
Absolutely stunning!!! I’m here for it.
This looks amazing! I tried this a while ago and got so discouraged I gave up! You have inspired me again. Thanks!!
You’re welcome! Yes try again! You can do it. 😄
Thank you being brave enough to show the before and after. I loved the end result!!!
Our people are so creative. Although this is not a new method, but you did a BEAUTIFUL job! Keep on being amazing. You are beautiful!
Thank you 💕😁🙏🏾
Focus on what’s long term for your scalp and let it breathe without weave. A short cute style with the front covering the alopecia Will do wonders for you Queen!!!
That's just awesome the way you did your hair, it's like beautiful and so are you. I also have alopecia with clean areas all over my head, and I don't know what to do with it except wear wigs.
She can't cover that with her real hair. She needs to stop doing this.
@@Michelle-pn9xt simple... she is harming her hair even more
I think a wig is more gentle. That you take off at night, and let the scalp breathe.
Everybody wannabe doctors, herbalist or know it all. Damn can we enjoy contact without your opinion
I would tell her if u leave your hair alone & treat your edges they will grow back
When she dreaded her hair & stopped stressing her edges & with treatment!
Thanks for sharing that, I totally agree with that solution! It would definitely work if someone’s loss isnt permanent. 😁💕
Girl u did that. I’m happy that you were able to find a way to fix an issue a lot of women deal with & face. Kudos to you sis. Great job! 😊❤
💕Thank you! 🙏🏾😄
Beautiful outcome!…I am loving it, you did an excellent job!
Thank you 😁💓
Great job! Your hair turned out amazing and you’re brave and gorgeous. Keep leading the way🥰
Thank you 💕😁
You are stunning with out make up on. You still look beautiful with it on!! But wow sis natural, in my opinion, is the way to go! You slayed the hair btw! God bless!!!! 💙
Thank you 🙏🏾 😁
You totally did the thang! You have mad skills!
Thank you 😊 💖
Wow this looks sooo freaking Beautiful 😻 I love the patience, the creativity ❤
That was amazing to watch! You are definitely gifted. I too suffer with alopecia, but honestly could never get that done! I have two left hands, lol
Watching from Barbados 🇧🇧
Thanks for tuning in! I’m sure you’ll get it down, with some practice 😄💕
You did that girl it’s cuuutteee😊
Thank you! 😄
You’re extremely talented! I remember doing something similar for my finger waves! Amazing job babe❤
This video made me smile-I was like this girl is an adorable genius!! I love your calming and sweet personality. I was like how did she come up with that? I saw a comment from a kind Mexican woman (I'm puerto rican) and whenever I see a black woman doing her hair on youtube that thought comes to mind a lot-damn they are so friggin creative and smart! Like you guys are just like-"I just thought to do it this way so I'm trying it here" and I'm floored like how the heck do they come up with this stuff? You ladies are innovative, creative, intelligent, bold, amazing! You are such a gorgeous lady.
Awe Thank you so much I appreciate your kind words 😁🙏🏾💕💕
I love your courage and willingness to share this. It breaks my heart, ladies don’t end up in this place with these weaves, tracks and glues…God bless you though hon, you are a beautiful young lady
Grrrrl you slayed on this I love it keep the videos coming !!! 🔥🔥
You did dat Queen! Keep them videos coming so I can learn how to do my hair. ❤❤
I love this! Thank u cus ur helping so many.cus some of us don't want to wear wigs all the time but switch it up,! PURE GENIUS AND INNOVATION
Thank you, and you’re very welcome! I’m so glad I can help🙏🏾. That was the mission indeed 🙌🏾💕
You did that thing! Black women are so creative and innovative! Much health and happiness to you, lovely lady.
Dang! You are TALENTED! Your hair looks 🔥
Thank you!😊💕
There's nothing black women can't do! IMPRESSIVE!
We suffer in silence having alopecia. Thank you again for sharing beautiful.
Traction alopecia . This is so sad. This is how bad my hair looked. I stayed away from braids and relaxers for two years . Most of it grew back.
On to the hair, you did a beautiful job. Wish I knew how to do hair.
This is absolutely magic…pure art!! And my hormonal alopecia edges thank you!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you 💕😁😊
Wow, us black women are so creative! This looks lovely! I have thin edges so I will be trying this method as well.
💕🙌🏾 Let me know how it goes! 😄
@@build-a-girl Girl you couldn't tell me my edges were fake. Lol. It turned out really good, so thank you for this video!
You did that... The way I'm set up and sweating like crazy I won't have a strand left in my head by the end of the day... I can see myself now telling folks to mind ya business cause I will be looking a hott ass mess I sweat to much in my head
You got it all figured out though I dig it.
That was amazing. Thanks for the tips. I’m definitely going to apply all of them to my installs. Wigs are great but sometimes you just wanna rock a ponytail ❤
You look beautiful! Your hair looks so natural. And that's what it's all about looking as natural as you can.
Thank you! 😁💕
YOU DID A GREAT JOB! I USE TO DO THIS BACK IN THE 80's TO MY MOTHER'S HAIR when she was losing her hair from chemotherapy! I just wanted to give her confidence back to let her know she is beautiful! Keep up the Good Work!!!
💕🙌🏾😁
Hey girl you did a fantastic job on your hair. You give a lot of women hope that they can do this to there hair also. Great job I'm loving it.❤❤❤❤❤🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you 😊 🙏🏾
I'm so happy to see this video. My edges look the same mine is hereditary. Seeing this gives me hope I can wear a ponytail and more hairstyles. Thank you a millions times over for making this video for women like myself.
You're so welcome! 😁
I’m a licensed stylist and have never used dye in relaxer 😩 you get a thumbs up for that one 💙
I only did it, because it came in the kit, for that reason. I wouldn’t dare try that on my own (buy them separately) 😅😁because I’m not licensed. Lol
Wow !!! Thank you for the tips! I was in a house fire and burned my scalp and I almost have the same hair loss as you. Thanks for the tips! I didnt know what to do. You have put a smile on my face Love!!!!!
I’m so sorry to hear that, you are very welcome! Happy healing and hair journey to you🙏🏾😘💕💕
Every person is entitled to their opinion..this lady is very artistic…you do you girl! You found a style that you find helps work it!
You did an awesome job. I love that idea of using the ends for thinning edges of feeling in sparse areas. Your braid looks great and your natural hair looked really healthy. I don’t have patience anymore with hair, but I’m gonna get back into it. Watching videos like this will inspire me to do some different hairstyles on myself lol TFS
💕yesss go for it! 😄
Girl you ate this up!😍 also I love you hair texture!❤
😁 Thank you!
I lost my edges after chemo. The rest of my hair grew back but I guess my edges had other plans lol. Can't wait to try this. Thank so much for sharing!!
Glad I could help! I hope it grows back 🙏🏾💗 Happy hair journey to you! 😘
You are so pretty even without edges. I share the same hair issue.
🙏🏾💕💕Thank you! Happy hair journey to you!
To say she’s talented is an understatement! What an excellent job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
🥰 awe Thank you! 😘
I have watched a lot of videos trying to find an at home remedy for my Alopecia issues. This is something I think I can do, thank you.
You’re very welcome! 💓😁
You are so courageous doing a video like this, your hair turned out amazing and you glow!! Love this!!🥰
Thank you! 🙏🏾😁
Gurl!. Thank you so much my daughter's hair is very similar to yours and been trying to find different techniques for her hair because she has Alopecia Anatrea as well
You’re very welcome, sorry to hear that, I know how challenging it can be. Glad I could help.
You killed that.. very creative and turned out really cute
Good Job, reminds me of making fake baby hair back in the day but you took it to another level. Sometimes we just want a cute hair style that makes us feel confident! You did that!
I think you did an amazing job and thar it looks wonderful! You are so brave to post and super talented! Keep slaying it :)
This is beautiful ! You did an amazing job!
Ohhhh nahhhhhhh you the goat foreal!!!!!!!!! This was so simple and smart and innovative 💡 great job❤
I’m saving this video….this is absolutely beautiful. You did an amazing job❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!
OMG you did an AMAZING JOB 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
My sides are basically just like yours but I shaved it into a Mohawk style 🤷🏾♀️🤣 I actually love it and got tired of being so restricted on how I could wear my hair. I am so proud of you for being brave…. I know this took courage 🥰❤️🙏🏾
Oh really, nice! 😁I bet it’s cute! … yes, and thank you 🙏🏾
@@build-a-girl yes it’s really a look 🥰🤪🤣😘
That sounds like the best alternative, good for you to work with what you got is beautiful in itself!
Main reason alopecia dwells heavily amongst the African American community...
Many cause traction alopecia...
Hair and scalp negligence...
Exactly. Why don’t ppl realize this🙇🏾♀️
Now I’m no expert, but It’s not weave itself that’s bad (unless it’s in too tight) it’s moreso the way in which we take our hair down, and maintain it while in these styles. Those are the most the crucial things to know. That can literally make or break someone’s hair if done wrong… I’m an advocate for preventative measures to take to reduce the chance of hair loss.
Actually some have other illnesses that cause hair losss.
Girl my hair is identical to yo-yo and I have more hair loss I like how you laid the tracking directly on your scalp I’m definitely trying this and you have a new subbie and you are so pretty girl u got a got a gift
Yesss sis give it a try!… Thank you! 🙏🏾😃
I need to watch this again. My edges fell out because of my diabetes medicine. Mine & my daughter’s edge looks just like yours. Thank you for sharing. I’m going to show this to her too.❤
Beautiful, articulate, & creative as all heck. Yass sis
You did a great job sis!
