It breaks my heart that all of these passionate people worked so hard in the prequels but all they received was hate
The prequels made a ton of money for their day...and they were received well by the general population. The only ones who hated them were the very loud aging "Peter-Pans" who wanted to relive their childhoods from the 70s and 80s. They are still crying to this day about everything...yet The Prequel fans who are grown up now and who I think are the most balanced... have always been critical where it is deserved but usually supports the projects and the efforts behind them.
It’s because back when they came out social media wasn’t so big and prevalent, the real fans couldn’t tell them how they really felt about the films, only people that had a platform were the big movie critics.

If all the received was hate, we would have never got Obi-Wan. Ewan McGreggor said himself that a fanbase grew to come and appreciate the prequel trilogy, who didn't have the biases that the fans of the original trilogy had. If that hadn't happened, he wouldn't have signed on for the show.
What makes this better is Liam pretended to not like the idea of coming back and denied everything, this made for one of the greatest surprises ever!

Agreed! I hope Natalie pops back for a flashback scene or 2, just a couple of minutes even. She was a main and deserves a proper reprise (and a nice cheque) just as much as the guys in this series.
And Sam Jackson as well.

I loved the Phantom Menace, it was my favorite out of the saga. Lovely to see Liam back as Qui Gon.

The Phantom Menace was my first Star Wars introduction in my childhood. I love it every single day and the one that made me hooked into Star Wars until today.
I grinned from ear to ear when I saw Liam at the end and seeing him and Ewan together bts in older Obi-Wan makeup just makes it even better.

I beg to differ. As phenomenal as Liam Neeson is, and the costume that he was in for the part, you can see on his face that he’s definitely aged. His voice hasn’t changed that much, but you can see the age near his brow. Even Hayden Christensen has aged considerably since 2005.
Ewan was just a kid basically when they last worked together, or maybe even saw each other.
If they make another season, i want to see ghost Qui-Gon train Obi-Wan or show Qui Gon train a young Obi-Wan in a flashback.

1. In the clone wars qui gon states that he cannot take physical form because his training was incomplete
2. It was such a waste to bring him on for THE LAST FUCKING MINUTE of the show

But qui gon finished his training between ROTS and Obi wan show
1. That was always retarded. With the logic of TCW, Anakin should not be able to become a Force ghost at all.
