I would say both motorcycles are built for different purposes. Interceptor is more like a city commuter and tourer on plains, while Himalayan is designed to tour with ease in the mountains, where usually there is more opportunity for off roading.@@vikrantshangloo8423
Wow amazing!!! Congratulations!! I have been following you since you purchased the interceptor. I was motivated by your videos and decided to buy the interceptor as my first bike. I was quite confused about the color as the red one was the cheaper and I had a tight budget. Then I thought about you. I know you are a designer by profession( I don't known the exact profession though) so your choice regarding color really matters. I pushed my budget and went for Baker express. I waited more than 3 months and got my first bike delivered on 29th of November 2021. I also thought about changing the handle bar (obviously inspired by your shorts and videos) and I went to the RE showroom but the cost of the handle bar is really high and I couldn't afford it. 😂 I felt investing that much amount is not worth it for now so I had to made up my mind that chrome handle bar also looks good. I am still okay with chrome one 😂. When Himalayan 450 launched, I really like the bike a lot. I started thinking about buying it. I mde up my mind that if I buy the bike then I will go for kamet white. I am so happy that you chose the same color. After watching this video, now I don't know whether I will end up spending my hard earned money on Himalayan 450. 😅 Thank you for uploading the video🙏. well, 310 has 34ps torque, this has 40. The fuel capacity is more in the later and with that comes the mileage. It is a pretty easy choice even after you keep aside the service stations/ maintenance. :)

Hi Jimmy. Yep that guard on the left side of the rear wheel is precisely for stopping women's skirt or sarees from getting tangled up in the rear wheel. However it can also be used as a pannier stay of some sort. That is ofcourse if one is on a budget and doesn't want to purchase pannier stays. This is a mandatory accessory that comes factory fitted on all motorcycles in India. That includes Harleys, Triumphs, Kawasakis or any other brand.

Having had punctures at the most remote locations, I'm wary of tubed wheels and carrying tubes and tools is an added weight. Maybe I'll just pick one up and get the wheel when they're available. Still thinking. 😀
Well, it's always good to get it when you can. I got my Interceptor back in 2020 for the same amount as the New Himalayan. You never know when the prices will rise. Plus like you said, just pick it up when the tubeless spoked wheels are launched. That is the good thing about cheap motorcycles that offer tremendous value for money.@@Whatreally123

Also have plans to put the akuminium rims (front) on my xpulse once the tubeless rims are launched for the Him. So won't be wasting it. 😀
