This is a remake of Donkey Kong, the classic arcade game. This level was not made by me, it was made by another user. So make sure to go try out this level for yourself. All footage was recorded at 1080p & 60fps on Nintendo Switch. Enjoy, like and please subscribe if you would like to see more.

Examples of good games to remake would be games like Cuphead, Metroid, Sonic, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, MegaMan, Castlevania & Contra. I'd probably avoid most Mario level remakes.

To improve the level make it mandatory to kill the boss to get to the next pipe
you dont kill donkey kong in the arcade game, he climbs up the ladder up until the final stage.
Amazing stage!
I like that 75 Meters in this level is miles easier than the actual 75m...or its Smash Bros. stage, for that matter.

01. The Timer
00:01 = 50 Points
If we assume that the level can be beaten with zero seconds remaining, then that would cost us 0 Points.
02. Coins
001 Coin = 100 Points
Unfortunately, we have to collect 8 coins to beat this level. This means we need to collect 800 points.
03. Enemies
Boom Boom = 4000
Though you can defeat Boom Boom in this level, it isn't necessary to progress. No points gained.
04. Items
Super Mushroom = 1000
There are Super Mushrooms scattered across the level, but we should be able to avoid them. No points gained.
Total = 800
If anybody can give tips on how to reduce our point counter, that would be helpful.

If you end in that little 0 second it's only 800 points

and now that they have keys in the Super Mario Maker games you could actually make levels that are exactly like the donkey Kong game on Gameboy or Mario versus donkey Kong on game boy Advance
I knew there'd be a DK remake here. People here are saying they want DK in here. Well, how bout Pauline? There should be a sprite of her in this game, and if not in this game, then in the first Mario Maker as a costume.
