I've had the honor and privilege of working with Jim Finn. He is the model of what a fireman is supposed to be built like. HIs calm leadership style, mixed with his on scene command presence is sorely missed on the LAFD. There are way too many stories to tell about him. But, I will say that everyone of them speaks to his character and love for his fellow citizens. Many of us can say we had a "good" Captain in our careers, but few can say they they had a "great" one. Thank you Jim for your selfless dedication to protecting the City Of LA, and for taking the time to always pass on your knowledge. God bless you and Jeanie.
