Natalie surely is an interesting writer, enriching readers about the Mediterranean world and Greek mythology. Namely about the power of a woman since ancient times.
Natalie Haynes is so right, my school just taught the industrial revolution and world wars, nothing else, and they relished the horrors of world wars which I really didnt enjoy, especially seeing photos of dead people. An utter nightmare. I'd have loved spending my school years learning ancient history, something I was interested in. Thank goodness for books, educate and entertain myself.
I love her books! She has such a gift!
