Its so weird because other youtubers say it all the time I heard Joe rogan say one of the reasons he changed to spotify was because oftentimes his videos got demonetized for no reason. I guess youtube saves a lot of money this way.
I think it's more accurate to say TH-camrs believe that TH-cam hates certain words or terms but it may not be clear if this is actually the case - probably there's some sort of sentiment score for a recommendation algorithm but who knows if TH-camrs are accurately judging the output.
Id love to see u and alex on such a memorable route... pls make that happen. Also we havent had any kilter board videos in ages if I recall correctly, would be alot of fun to watch u get on some difficult routes there aswell, at least for me :) Keep up the great work, youre the reason why I started climbing!
I was about to comment mid-video that you now need to go get on Freerider for real to see how it compares, but I kept watching long enough to hear you talk about going to possibly climb it with Alex. If you can get the permits to film in Yosemite, I know I’d love to see it (as I’m sure everyone would). It’s such an iconic place-one of my personal and absolute favorites-and seeing you climb there with Alex would be super dope. Great video all-in-all with getting to watch you do an insanely cool indoor boulder and take down the V9 & V10 after putting some work in. I think the casual conversation to the camera in between attempts gives the video a really nice relaxed feel. I’m really loving the second channel. 🤘🏻

Somehow I find the purple color background for the gradetag at 13:30 to be incredibly satisfying. Something about the color matching with the purple one the dual-colored holds of the problem and the blueish filter of the footage. On the topic of future videos, would you maybe consider making a video with a climbing/bouldering gym owner about their process of setting it up? You have a bit of experience in the field yourself and might be able to ask some very good questions. And there are a ton of super nice gyms popping up everywhere - Domen Skofic's incredibly lead climbing gym in Slovenia, Element München in Germany, ELYS boulderloft in Switzerland are a few that come to mind in terms of aesthetics and overall quality.
Looks like you are in great shape man, good strong climbs. You were talking about el cap, but really, any outdoor climbing would be great since it's not winter time now. Show us some of that famous Nordic countryside!

Watching these, all I can say is that the mark of a true professional is making things look so easy that a complete beginner like me can think "yeah I could do that".
Since you’re in london you could check out the castle climbing centre which is pretty unique! - I’d say the grades are lil bit tougher there as well. Really cool seeing this older style of content again.

Great video Magnus, enjoy the more candid bouldering vids. Just a note: LCC gyms in London are somewhat known for inconsistent grading. As a very commercial gym with focus on beginners I think they might sometimes overcorrect when there are a couple of sandbagged boulders and end up making some very soft ones (like the blue V8). As long as the movement stays enjoyable thats all that matters... but it is sometimes annoying to not know if something is just easy/hard for the grade or if you're making improvement 😅
We need more collabs with female climbers, Janja would be awesome, but female climbing scene is full of really talented athletes who deserve more recognition

Would love to see another outdoor session from Norway. Maybe together with Thilo Schöter? Hvasser close to Tønsberg has some hard 7B boulders and a nice 8a (Jack the Ripper) and there is plenty of other stuff in that area as well. I think I saw a video from you some years ago from Østerøya or Ula? Alternatively, go for all the hard boulders in Østmarka. Would be nice for people to see the local spot closest to Oslo.
It's not quite Alex's crux on Freerider. The crux is a thin edge for the right hand up above your head (I think it was a thumb down press so resistance rather than grip) and a reach with a thumb and thin fingers about simultaneous with the left foot extending down to a thin edge. It's clear watching it that gravity is pulling the body downward with that long stem. The left hand hold here looked a lot easier.

What I love about climbing is the energy you put into climbing a V10 is very similar to a newby climbing a V1.
