The end of the story also says in the Original Book that Chandri got fed up with the Brahminical Practice of the Agrahara, she approached a good friend of Narayanappa (a Muslim) for helping the removal and cremation of the decomposing body. That Muslim friend happily obliged. He did not want to get paid for that service to his deceased friend. She left the Village, finally in dismay & disgust. All her jewels were with her. Why this Lecturer Madam did not reveal this end? Probably, she personally did not like the end of the story as written by the great author Anantha Murthy! The Author of this great Novel Samskara very valiantly exposed the hypocrisy and meaninglessness of various religious rituals. The bottom line, as he describes, is the Power of Chadri's Beauty on sexually "starved" men and the practicality of how Narayanappa lived as a Rebel of the Orthodox Community with happiness in the loving hands of an astonishingly beautiful Chandri. This Lecturer called her a "whore". No, she was a low caste woman lived faithfully with and for Narayanappa! No where the Author says Chandri was "selling her body" for money = a definition for a "whore"!!! Astute students should not believe how this story was narrated to them. They will be better off reading for themselves the Original Story; not the interpretation of any Biased Lecturer, like here!!

Madam you have repeated so many times the same lines. Unnecessarily it became lengthy video.
