- Steve Darnell and his Diesel Rod put on quite a performance during the filming of the Five Finger Death Punch "House of the Rising Sun" video. The music video premiers on VEVO...3/24/14 and features the vehicles, set design, and crew from Welder Up.

Steve Darnell and his crew at Welderup build some of the most bad ass rat rods I have ever seen. It was so cool to see them used in FFDP's "House of the Rising Sun" video...one of my favorite bands and the dopest rat rods together is awesome!

Pure Sex.. Rockabilly 2017 ended today at Mills Park in Carson City. Nv. , I've been BIT by the bug guys.. Expect me as a future customer. I just need to have something to express my Service and those I served with, Yes, during 9/11/01 USS John C. Stennis CVN-74 (we were testing the New F/A-18E/F Super Hornets when 9/11 hit.) So, in order we served in 'Noble Eagle' (9-11-01), 'Anaconda' (Paybacks a Bitch), 'Operations Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom'.. and others not mentioned. Plus the traditional Sailor Jerry tats, maybe some Betty Page stuff and anything else that fits the style. Still overwhelmed by what I saw at Rockabilly this year so regaining my composure to really think it through, what I'd like to see built. I was told you might be there Steve, and am sorry I missed you, but yeah coming real soon I am serious. The people, (Great attitudes with a passion for this), the rides (Great expressions of one's ideas), and the Ladies (pin-ups, Yummm!) I fell in love with it all. Hope to be part of it soon.
