    Thanks for posting the video. It helped me out a lot in putting all three items together easily. The instructions that came with both the right angle and the flex shaft were very hard to follow.Have a good one.

    An Excellent solution... Thank you. Many ask this question on AMAZON " right angle to flex shaft" and most answers say NO! ... You have a solution with a simple metal washer!... Thanks

    Thanks for the tip man, been looking into a better way to cut wood up with my Dremel, and just the flex shaft on its own with a cutting disc is very difficult

    Hi Tuomas, can you please describe the inside diameter, outside diameter, and thickness of the washer you used in your video? Awesome video and thanks for sharing.

    Thanks, I find it hard to believe that dremel would make this require homemade parts to get the right angle attachment onto the flex shaft, but there is nothing to go onto the threads.

  • @VerbenaIDK
    @VerbenaIDK 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    never seem it done before, but with the angle attachment, and the grip qttachment, you can effectively turn a dremel into a small angle grinder with the big metal cutting disks, the only problem is sparks, but there are solutions you can make with a stock dremel to allow for thar

    You saved me 200.00.I almost went out and bought the Fortiflex This set up works great Thanks Tony

    •  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. Im glad it helped. I like to use it too. When held from the right angle part, its like using a tiny angle grinder.

    Thanks Tuomas, i am a big fan of Dremel and i have a lot of bits and accessories.
    In You Tube i see the post of Mr. John Robinson (Assembling the Dremel 225 to 220 using the adapter...) is very interesting.

    will it fit to the threads of generic (chinese copy) rotary tools like everise or black&decker?

    •  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can't say for sure. I can measure the right angle attachment later when im home.

    •  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Dremel has 3/4 inch 12 tpi thread. Flex shaft didn't fit to Heinel rotary tool, but the right angle attachment fitted to Heinel's flex shaft. So, can't say for sure...

    if i will cutting aluminium? this combo?

    •  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      KH Jeong Those dremel cut off wheels stuck easily with alumine. It helps if you dip cut off wheel to that dremel red wax before cutting and after a while.

    This optional It's very too expansive dremel accessories cost more than professional tools.

    •  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maui- Maui Thanks for your opinion. I don't feel the same, but that is just how i think. I have used many other tools that costs 10-20 times more than Dremel, and can't say is one better or worse. Its not a brand or price tag what makes tool "professional". I know many professionals using Dremel tools.

      @Tuomas Soikkeli : I think it's too expensive for him. Because he lives in Hawaii where everything is expensive. But thanks Tuomas for this lovely video. You really helped me. I had that angle tool in my tool bag. And didn't have a clue on how to use it. Thanks again.

    •  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ahaa. Yep, those are little expensive if bought separately. I got mine with a platinum kit. I tought this video is just a tip for the people who allready have them. But, i have noticed this to be handy for carving too. Most of all, things usually depends from what you actually need. 😊 You can get more power with the same prize, but usually size grows too..

  • @zahidkm
    @zahidkm 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great tip but this will eat up battery like crazy if you are using with cordless Dremels.

  • @dwightstewart7181
    @dwightstewart7181 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    ❓ What stops the right angle adapter from rotating around on the flex shaft head? The insert piece you left off has grooves that interlock into the right angle adapter to keep the adapter from rotating on the Dremel tool. Without that interlocking insert, the right angle adapter will surely rotate on the flex shaft head.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your hand. Hold it from the right angle adapter...

    • @dwightstewart7181
      @dwightstewart7181 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ .. So your hand is holding both the right angle adapter and the flex shaft head. Your other hand will usually be busy with the material being worked. It seems a bit cumbersome to me, but I guess it's a matter of whatever gets the job done.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is so small compination that it fits easily inside my one hand. There's no any problems to hold them both, or need to hold them both. Its more accurate to hold it from the right angle attachment.
      But, if one feels it uncomfortable.. then one needs to search other solutions. That is helped me many times in tight places where i can't reach with bigger tools, to cut weared out nuts, bolts etc... For me this solution is "when there is no other options to use"
