Loved that part about Chris Martin, I noticed his highlights in the first video and thought he was raw. It's amazing how he plays for reasons greater than himself. Ball is life for him, truly.
The part when big homie was talking bout almost being paralyzed, and how that almost made him stop playing ball. I have an aneurysm in my brain that's stopping me from playing ball. But if its God's will, I'll be playing again in no time. Much love Devin, you keep inspiring me to do better, and to be patient..
This is amazing, the inspiration and motivation you get from this. Although motivation can wear down, the things you learn from this series stay with you for life. This should honestly be a TV show/series. I'm not only inspired as a hooper, but also as an editor. Kudos! :)
best video yet,its funny, when they started working out outside there were two little kids hooping on the other court, they stopped sat on the bench and started watching you Devin and Chris workout . I sure those kids tried to imitate the workout afterwards.
Dev, as a bball enthusiast, player, coach, mentor, and chaplain in the arena of basketball, the insight I gain from the vids line up with exactly what this younger generation needs. Progress isn't microwavable and developing a basketball player to become a better one is all about habits - spiritual, mental, emotional, physical habits. An athlete is the end product of what's on the inside of a person. You and I both know, talent is never the indicator of whether a player will reach the highest level but how they respond to the let downs and challenges they encounter. To develop a basketball player to be the best they possibly can be takes total commitment by the trainer/coach and player. It must be an inside-out process because what's on the inside will manifest externally. You eluded to it a little bit throughout this video with Christian showing up on time. Overall, man I really enjoy what you do and I commend you for committing to these young guys to walk with them over a extended period of time. Remember, there is no transformation without the renewing of the mind. Keep God first in all you do (which I heard more of in this vid) and He will guide your steps. Stay blessed bro!
For those who are wondering about the player Marcus Lovett is similar to click on this link 5'8 Trae "Torch" Jefferson Is THE MOST TALENTED 2015 Point Guard!!! ShiftTeam Mixtape!!!
I have to admit I like watching matty and trevor a little more than Knight since he doesnt have the same hunger and drive as they do. I realize he is getting better at being on time, but honestly I know so many guys that would be so much earlier but they never have had these type of opportunities.

Man I love this whole 10k hours series its so well put together it makes you wanna do something with the time that you have instead of sitting on your ass all day man im glad I came across this and I dont regret it at all
Favorite Parts seeing Marcus Lovett Jr. And Sr. You holding Carson accountable in more than just his basketball skills, the punctuality piece and discussing how it's more than basketball it's life. The workouts seemed to be solid as usual. The story behind Price's team captain. Also the review of game footage highlighting the mental aspect of hoop. Keep Grinding fam Respect!
All of your videos are well thought out messages from beginning to end. The REAL you show makes it show how everything you do down to little things can help in your basketball game. Dev as always great job on the video my dude
Dev this episode was very anticipated and really good... Great job dev you're editing skills are superb and what you do wit these videos is craaazy...nice job keep it up!!!
One of the best hours I will have spent this week. Been following you since Matty and Kyle and your work improves with each video. Great Job Devin, looking forward to more!
Devin...INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE job man...I've been following you for quite awhile now, and your maturity in film, capturing quality moments, emotion, gifting, and relationships is amazing king...I have been researching the LAW of 10,000 hours and I wholeheartedly agree...congrats to becoming a MASTER at your craft...KEEP GOING!!!! The world needs the PRINCIPLES you reinstating using basketball as a vehicle...BEAUTIFUL...thanks again!
Get these great kids off of "fast food!" I've seen it in every episode. Just because someone is young and has a high metabolism doesn't mean that should be eating garbage. All of this hard work gets dented when you fill your body with poison. Great series! Thank you.
Amazing again Devin thank you for all the hard work you put in I'm sure many people appreciate it just as much as I do. After I watched the first 10000 hours I started putting in work in the gym with a good friend of mine and i have been scoring over 20 points a game in my last 10 games and had 3 games over 30 with 4 triple doubles and you have truly motivated me and changed my life. And I will always be thankful I always look forward to your next video no matter how long it takes its always worth the wait.
Hey Dev, I really love what you do. I'm 5'6, Chinese, 17 this year, attending NUS high school, Singapore. I know for sure I'm gonna get good college courses. I also know for sure I'm not gonna live on basketball but I have decided to live basketball for this 1 and a half year or so. I started balling when I was 14, and have really started training last year. I used to have an okay shot, midrange was knockdown. But for more than half a year I have completely lost my shot and the only evidence left that I have ever played basketball is the ability to keep my dribble alive under pressure. I'm now working on my shot again and I dare say I work pretty hard. But really, for this 3 months or so, there hasn't been any progress at all, everything is so stiff, unnatural and bricky, can't even get my form right. (I know I'm not training right) Sometimes, just sometimes, I feel really depressed and I'm not sure what I am doing with my life spending so much time on basketball because I'm really plain bad right now. (but no, basketball is a lifestyle). Sorry if I sound like a loser man, but I'm really feeling very lost right now.
DIGGIN the drills and workouts, me and my brother are training for next season and watch videos like this to inspire as well as learn a thing or two. It'd be awesome if you had a blog where it's just a section about workouts.
My game has improved so much in the last three months or so because I've been following every thing you film. From A Seasons Worth, Information, and 10000 hours. Thank you, for what you've done for a homie
All of these seasons of TEN000 hours have inspired me and i have become a much better basketballer and have developed my game to another level. This helps people much more than you can imagine! I have also mentally improved and developed my knowledge for the game, i thank u for it
Great video Dev yet again. Really enjoy watching these as it inspires me that even though I'm from Australia, hard work and commitment can take me anywhere.
Ball was already part of my life, but it became more than just passion, i just stick with that same mindset and now i know how much efficient it can be, you’ll influence more than a generation Devin, thanks for your devotion and believin, ya the goat
I know you didn't say it in this episode but I just want to say I feel the same way about you. I started training and I didn't want to charge nobody until I got my training programs tight and felt confident in it. You and I look at the game the same way and to see what you doing is a real inspiration to guys like me who were always told ball couldn't be my life
This is awesome, I really like the way you don't just focus on a player's offensive or athletic ability, I like the fact that defense and mentality are important to you. Keep up the good work!
man devin you're a good trainer, its a reminder at how much you need to work when people arent looking, and just how much you need to work overall to get where you want to be. these videos have helped project what this lifestyle reallly is like, cutthroat..you've gotta want it more than the next guy, and you've done a good job at projecting that out. if youre ever in the washington state area id be more that interested to get in a workout with you.
Great vid Dev. I appreciate that you take time out of your day to make these videos. People fail to realize that What you are doing motivates other kids, and maybe even adults. Keep on doing What you are doin and hopefully all your guys will get their scholarships.
I really enjoy watching these. I love how you can see results. Most of the time people only show the good, I like how you see the adversity that has to be faced.. I can relate a lot more and it's more motivational because it's reality. Love your videos. Keep em coming
In my opinion I think this series should become a TV show
i agree see if you can pitch this to a network like nbatv or something for the summer work out. something different from and1 series
people really just don't understand. ball really is life. it's not just a game. it's a passion and lifestyle.
That's idolatry my friend. Only Jesus is life.
I
Thats true! 🤗 but God always first tho.
Absolutely 👌👌

Damn 1 hour? You must have spent alot of time on this. Respect
Loved that part about Chris Martin, I noticed his highlights in the first video and thought he was raw. It's amazing how he plays for reasons greater than himself. Ball is life for him, truly.
probably the best and humble trainer i have seen. would love to have him as my trainer
Love that interview with D'Andre. Dude is real cool and down to earth. Really admire him!
Tell us your favorite part(s)!!!
All of it dude, but 56:22 had me
That game winner got me teary.............Hard work pays off
The whole episode! It was amazing & inspirational.
this was the best 10000 hours yet but the game winner was the most inspirational
The part when big homie was talking bout almost being paralyzed, and how that almost made him stop playing ball. I have an aneurysm in my brain that's stopping me from playing ball. Wish I had a trainer like devin
best video yet,its funny, when they started working out outside there were two little kids hooping on the other court, they stopped sat on the bench and started watching you Devin and Chris workout . I sure those kids tried to imitate the workout afterwards.
I went back to check that out, thats a really cool moment to see
I would be really interested to see how Devin would do as a coach of an entire team

This is the best, the workout scenes and speeches about life are the best. As long as the 1v1 clips.
Love your videos and trueness they present. Like the Bible, you give the good and the bad, that's love. Ballislife!
Loved the convo's with Marcus Lovett's dad. Always good to find out why the best are the best.
