Find the whole Fracture series in the “Failure to Fracture” playlist and on the MWM website: makeweirdmusic.com/learn/fracture
In this piece, I detail the difficulties of learning FraKctured as opposed to learning and performing it’s older sibling, Fracture. I close with a performance at the end of the video. It’s adequate!

From one guitarist to another, you did a damn good job regardless of minor foibles. If playing an immortal song like this is adequate to you, it's gold to us mere mortals. I feel for Mr. Fripp, he's the best guitar player in my eyes, for him to still be humbled down by an impossible or at least probable test of focus and mental strength after 48 years. Of course to be honest, it hasn't been too bad to him on the outside, he hasn't aged much from it. It like the Terror sequence from Larks' Tongue in Aspic 4 was similar, if not influenced by the Terror sequences in this song. Or vice versa because I'm probably wrong on the assessment. I know I would not want to try this, I actually don't try to play songs. I write my own pieces and hope for the best but still I can not miss an intense performance and honestly between this and the one previous, you nailed it. Now in 26 years if you get to chat with Mr. Fripp about it, that'd be something.

Nice work man! Would it be fair to say that an advantage of FraKctured of Fracture is that there is perhaps less attention required to dynamics and articulation? I feel like Fracture has more *musical* potential that can elevate a good technical display, wheras FraKctured seems to be pretty compressed with the same articulations throughout. I ask this having never tried to play FraKctured...

You sir are in a different dimension than most guitarists or musicians for that matter. I found this video more intriguing than the last one, I'm not sure if it's your approach, your ability not only to communicate what you are talking about (in detail, no less) but the actual playing of the piece. King Crimson is in the top 5 of my favorite bands/musicians with Frank Zappa and RUSH rounding out the top 3. Thanks again and keep up the awesome videos.

It still bites his ass, this is an evolution and challenge to take it further, I can’t play at all and I get this, please get this , think for yourself and take this beautiful music beyond and add this or add elements and play other things. Congratulations to you for being the only one besides Fripp to be able to play this, now do something with it . There are so many good musicians on line now, please make your own Crimson. Toss bass into your search bar and see where that takes you.
I have been amazed by this song since I heard it back in 1981 when I discovered them and you are the first person I have ever heard play it BRAVO, STANDING APPLAUSE RIGHT HERE! I am now a P1 fan of yours!
