...now that's music, my friends!
Aber zu 100% die besten...
A fortunate collision of talent: One of the best poet lyricist of our age and, a congregation of of talented improvisational musicians with a soulful lead singer who really knew how to sell a song to an audience.
But technically astute ... In the pocket of everything!
Awesomeness 😂🎉🎉🎉
The real beginning of fusion and such RAW AWESOME talent òf sophistication jazz and soul love this band ❤️ ♥️ forever
☘️
I remember these songs from when I was very little.
This guy could sing a tune like what I would consider the BEST bourbon in the world ❤.
This man's vocals were astounding sends me chills each and every single time I kid you not
IMHO David Clayton-Thomas is one of the most amazing singers in history. A voice for the ages.
What a band that was. The brass section, harmonica player, drummer, EVERYONE was musically the best of the best.
A very husky and powerful voice, with true vocal qualities.
Thanks for the memories
David Clayton Thomas pure legend !!
David Clayton Thomas sang in the yard when he was locked up for a bit early 1960s...Guard was quoted in a bio..."that boy could sing"
It makes me smile just listening to them. Fantastic group!
I was a teenager like 13 when I first heard their music ! I really love 60s ,music ! Love all the songs they played !
Me too Patti. I was born in 1956, so I loved 60's music too.
Same. Weren’t we lucky! Walking to school, picking up friends on the way and listening to the transistor radio. Great times.
Yep and I still love them ❤❤❤
@@phillipsarrazine9072same🎉😂❤❤
I'm sure that made a big impression on you. Such an incredibly full sound! 🎉
I had the good fortune of seeing them in Lubbock, TX during my freshman year at Texas Tech in 1971. On one number, they pulled out a tuba and was hitting 16th notes! DCT also showed his prowess on the Telecaster. Amazing show! I don't think that I've seen anything better since.
What an amazing voice! An archive treasure for sure! Thanks RITY!
DCT!
I saw him in concert at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa back in the 80's. He's one of my favorite singers ever since.
1965 - 1975 .. the sweet spot
This is one of the greatest moments in music history regarding live performances. This version of when I die is probably one of the most exciting and stirring moments I have ever experienced watching any music of any genre...... these guys at this moment in their career captured true magic in the bottle. I'm grateful that this was captured for future generations to enjoy and be moved because modern music certainly doesn't move anything, with a few exceptions.
This songs sounds exactly like the 2nd BS&T LPs...young clayton thomas a gifted singer with a talented musicians
Jazz oriented ..
Love this band. David Clayton Thomas sings with so much soul. His voice is one of a kind. Thanks for this upload.
Love this live performance. Appreciate this band much more now.
Amazing. I've seen these guys in concert. Just incredible
I still listen to them.❤
Great, great voice, incredible. Together with so many talentful musicians. Moving my heart.
Thank you David❤️💐
No one sings like that anymore! Someone in this world needs to carry on with the tradition . I’m sure the sideburns would be a necessary part of this tradition
Beyond awesome --- thank you , thank you, ReeliniIn the Years
Hell yeah, loved some BS&T and David Clayton Thomas, one helluva voice! You need to show more of the old classic rock reelin in the years! How bout some Rare Earth or bands like that, even some old MOTOWN!
I just recently learned that "Rare Earth" was signed on the Motown Label!!!
@@bernardowens1648 - yeah man, they sure were, Barry Gordy new those white boys had some soul in them, and a little funk. Loved some Rare Earth!
So amazing! So very touched!
excellent. Makes me cry
David Clayton Thomas is a Canadian LEGEND.
Gracias a quien grabó esta maravilla. Y también a quien lo subió. 👍
No school like the Old School.
In early teens I would learn entire albums by ear. BS&T 2nd was quite the education.
I love 60’s & 70’s Music 🥺🤘
Muchísimas gracias 🙏
Sencillamente extraordinario!!!!
Mucha muchas gracias.
Grandes precursores de las bandas con metales. David extraordinario!!!!
Great song
I havent heard this song in long time
Thank you?
You're we welcome 🤪
Now where are my CHANELS😡
BS&T was excellent mood music to a teenager growing up in the late 1960s. Their music was 'inspiring' to many teenage girls of the same era.
So Good !!
What are Blood Sweat & Tears musically? Blues, and jazz, and some other musical influences in there. David Clayton Thomas is such a powerful vocalist. He has so much power and emotion. Cheers! ✌️
Wow ! I can dig it.
Haha! "DIG IT" 😅
this is fantastic!!!
From my preteen years!! Love this!!

Steve Katz could really "give e'm that harp boy!"
YES
I was 3yrs old remember my brothers and sister playing this song
...timeless
Compartido tu trabajo a todos mis amigos ☺️🇲🇽🇲🇽
Excelente recomendación musical modo dios ❤
Such pro's 😂
WHAT AGREAT DISTINCTIVE NOTICEABLE VOICE THAT CATCHES THE AUDIENCES 🎉
With all the groups selling their songs, some of that money should go to new record labels for the next generation of singers and bands. Thats how they were able to be who they are.
💟💯💖🙏
Bobby Colomby (drummer, bandleader!)
Walk That Walk
In Crosstown Traffic, an otherwise interesting book about Hendrix and jazz rock by the journalist Charles Shaar Murray, he has some rather negative things to say about BST and the vocalist in particular. A peculiar reaction, I thought.
For me, they were nothing short of sensational in every aspect.
That is the most excited that Canadians get - rock on?
🥳😘🎵🎶🎷👏👏👏
it was laura nyro's song but all credit to BST or I would never have heard it.
Didn’t like the way the harmonica overplayed David’s singing. Other than that-great.
Laura Nyro
👁️👁️😍
NOT ALL WILL SLEEP......COME ON YESHUA.....Y.HEE HAA..........................
Widow
His voice sounds like Frank Sinatra big time!
Love is an universal language, why do when we just go with the rhythm you can look into your significant other eyes on the dance floor, but this doesnt qualify as a great worship song to jesus. Unless someone made you think that way. For the second song. Great song, but isnt all love songs great to those dancing to them.
Pity the main pianist was not there 😭
I am gobsmacked to find out this band is made up of white guys!
So
John Lennon was right, this band sucks. I love the last song they played, and the band butchers it.
This one is going out for the late nz trombonist Mr roger fox allso big band director
