Another absolutely magnificent upload! Beautifully crafted, fascinating and humorous in generous quantities. You really have nailed it with this one good sir!
This fantastic video is just the right length to watch whilst having a brew break in my deli apron - something the Empress would probably be very happy I'm doing! I especially like the titbit about her pearl necklace. Another bloody brilliant addition to your wonderful series!
I love these videos! I’m brand new to Tarot and these videos are way helpful. They are intelligent, funny, and informative. I’m studying one card a day, and yours is among the first sources I turn to. Thank you for all of the effort ( :
Loving your videos, going back and forth between the full story and these expanded sections. My intuition says that length of days in this context just references productivity, or how much can be done in a day
You're right, she definitely had Jamaican heritage. I was lucky enough to go to an exhibition of her work a few years ago & learned that she had a crazy life! She was born in central London but her family were based in Manchester until she was 10, when they relocated to Kingston, Jamaica. Her grandfather on her dad's side was Cyrus Porter Smith, Mayor of Brooklyn & her uncle on her mom's side was the American painter Samuel Colman, who painted the famous images of the Hudson River. She wrote 2 books on Jamaican Folklore and would sometimes dress as the 'Gelukiezanger', which means 'teller of West Indian folk stories' so she definitely had a huge connection to the esoteric traditions of the Carribbean. Honestly I could make a series just about her life cuz it was nuts!! ☆
@@kippi Gotcha! Would love a series on her life! Her Jamaican heritage resonates with me deeply and would open the door of tarot to so many others who will see themselves represented. Pixie's connection to Jamaica connected so many dots for me as someone drawn to the tarot who likewise is of Jamaican heritage.
That's definitely something I'd love to work on when I've made it through all of the cards, I'm about halfway through the Minor Arcana now so I'm getting there & I'm thinking about what comes next ☆
@@kippi Well, if you're taking requests, I'm super interested in a "making of" episode of Kippi's Kwest. Feels like production and on-screen work is something you do professionally. Would be keen to learn more about your process and inspiration for producing this learning tarot series. Essentially, pulling back the curtains a bit on concepting and producing a project like this! It's very well done and the British humor is very entertaining!
I'd be happy to do that but you'd soon see that it's not particularly professional 😅 I'm kinda learning all this as I go along but I could try something like that
These videos are so well-crafted! Thank U ❤
You're very welcome, I'm glad you're enjoying them 😊⛤

I think you're right, plus the creative & fertility aspects. Also the zodiac correspondences to her jewellery fit well with length of days ☆
this is so entertaining and awesome to watch! 😍 may this TH-cam channel of yours be fruitful in Universe's name! ✨

As I understand it, Pamela Coleman Smith had some Jamaican heritage. Was she not born there? 🇯🇲
