That 21. 13 second run was superb. If that block hadn't slipped you would have probably just nipped under 21 seconds. What an amazing Comeback from the illness setback.
Dude that was an awesome last race. In the first half of the video I was thinking to myself that between injuries and illness you might have lost your edge permanently. Glad to see you're back to full strength.
hello mathias, first of all its amazing to see you competing and being happy again, ty for all this effort. now since we see you swapping sprint spikes so often during training and races, do u mind telling us some of your thoughts regarding that in the future please ?
you are such a great athlete and I'm your biggest fan , following you since 2018 on youtube , I loved your dedication towards the sports and passion for the sport . I am 100% sure that you will make it to 2024 paris olympics. love from india🇮🇳
Mathias this was epic. As always I love seeing your training and hearing about the mental challenges behind the physical efforts. Sport science nerd question: what force plate system were you using to measure your CMJs? And how often to you test the CMJ or other non-sprinting neuromuscular tests?
Starting off, one can absolutely keep improving all aspects of physical and mental throguh the season, thought I would advice trying to have one or two meets where you try to taper off training a bit and maybe feel a peak. This answer might differ when one is in their prime adult years with many years of experience and few routes to improve physically.
You can definitely improve but remember youre slowest right after a workout. you need to taper off before races, you will not get faster in the week before the race by working out
i normaly press the front of the blocks first and then the back ,you did the front last i think thats why they moved, because if you press on the front hard the back part of the blocks lift
Can anyone please explain me why this indoor training tracks reflecting jist like basketball court with plasticite. I am from indian and in my country this type of tracks doesn't even exist. Plesse explain anyone
He's backkkkkkkkkk🎉

Hey Mathias, do u think as an athlete we can keep improving in season or the in season is just about maintaining and peaking?
