We enjoy watching your video, thank you for sharing this to us.We are visiting Italy next. month and I want to visit Orvieto. If taking the train from Rome is it a high speed train or the regional train? Do yo recommend us to get the Carta tunica?
Hi Christine! It is a regional train which will take you about 1:15 to 1:30 hours to get from Roma Termini to Orvieto. About the Carta Unica, if you are going on a one day trip like us, it is not worth it. All the things we visited in this video would turn out slightly cheaper than the carta unica, if we purchased tickets on each sight. If you are planning to stay longer, than it is definitely worth it!
There is a massive parking lot at the base of Orvieto which has elevators and escalators going up to the town. Also at the train station there is a funiculare that goes up the side of the hill to centro storico.
It is not free, unless you go for Sunday mass. But there is an entrance on the back left for people who want to prey and you can get in there to see the Duomo in a limited capacity.
I visited Orvieto for two days back in 1993; after seeing your very informative video, I must return.
How great to have a beautiful woman leading us through the marvels of Orvieto.
Dude. Keep the perv tricks in your pants 🤣🤣🤣
The best video, which I found about Orvieto in Internet. It is wonderful!

"lasagne of history" -- best description ever!
I hope you record part II before the ticket's expiration. Great tour, thank you!
We hope the same! We really want to see that Etruscan necropolis! 🤩
Great tour!
Thank you Vickie! 😊
I am so struck by how many have left this incredible country for less exciting realms-such as my relatives who left for U.S. 🤔
Many years ago did a circle around Lago di Bolsena but missed this gem of a town 🙁
Where did you purchase the ticket?
At the info point right next to Pozzo di San Patrizio 😊
I must visit that well. My name well.
please leave a link for orvieto day trip
Awesome video! Now I'm convinced to add Orvieto on our itinerary! About what time did you leave Rome?
Thank you! It will be totally worth visiting! 😊 We went by car and we left Rome at around 8AM. Enjoy and let us know how it goes 😉

Grazie Mille!🤙🏾 mahalo !
Is Perugia close enough for a Day Trip??
mm not sure, it would be 2:30 hrs drive or you could take public transport, but we are not exactly sure how that would work out on a day trip
I would skip it. Noisy, dirty, crowded and all students.
It’s not free to get into the Duomo?

Las Mujeres Italianas Son Bellísimas
You've obviously never been to Italy
Orvieto is much better in several ways to Montepulciano.
