    This repair is a nightmare if you attempt this way. High possibility certain functions won't work properly after trying to do it this way. Dropping adhesive remover into the back is also ill advised as the moisture will remain in the phone causing damage down the line. The back glass when properly repaired is removed with a laser tool that actually burns the adhesive. APPLE DOES NOT USE b-7000 Glue. If they did, the back glass would come off very easily compared to the glue they actually use that requires the laser to burn it. I'd bet more people trying it this way will do more damage to the phone making it unusable. I have 13+ years in mobile repair. If you don't have it done professionally, Just keep the back glass broken and put it in a case. Its just aesthetic anyway.

      Hi, what is the purpose of your comment? You need to add price of owing a laser machine etc...I do this to show the cost effective aspect for an individual doing this one time. I can buy a laser show all the steps then what do I expect anybody watching to buy a laser noooooo. I agree with everything you said if not done right you can have issues! The glue remover is very flammable and does not Crease moisture and evaporate fast it's not water. You need a laser as you have a shop and a business to run nobody doing a onetime thing will go buy all professionals machines to fix a broken glass 🤷🏽‍♂️.

    Has it lost its water resistance?

    • @ersbit
      @ersbit  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes. I would not put any phone in water fully Submerged after it has been repaired.

      @@ersbitDo those lose their water resistance as soon as the back case is broken?
      I have that same pink one, which survived looong inside a toilet, until i found gloves to retrieve it, after that I threw away the case, and it became a broken mess in the back including the camera glass, did your case include cover for the cameras, or do i need to pay for that separate?

      @@fabzfeast yes of course if you look close to the camera ring there's a loose gap that could lead fatal failure if you dip your phone into the water as the original glass assembly would put the glass first then the camera ring not like this one

      🤣 I which they asked themselves that question when Designing the back. It's just impossible because they used lot of glue and special glue that gets soft only after using a heatgun at a high temperature above 800 Fahrenheit etc...
