Nice and honest review. I'm looking to buy one and now you you got me comparing the TT with a Cooper S... seems the TT is the more reliable of the two. Both would be petrol engines.
Hi buddy, thanks for the compliments. In my opinion it depends on the model you want to buy; the TT mk2 can have problems with the turbo, bushings, coils, depending on the km and usage. Same goes for the Cooper S, the R53 has a supercharger and you need to check it while the R56 has a turbo but it had many problems as a model from the water pump to the intercooler. I recommend that you choose your model carefully as you may find yourself having to repair them.

Hi! Thanks for appreciate my work; I add 1 kg of oil every 3.500/4.000km. It’s a reasonable consumption for this kind of engine, in my opinion.
Le TT a trazione anteriore perdevano parecchio, sia in termini di performance che di fascino. Questa macchina ha un senso in versione integrale, che poi è il suo punto di forza.

Ma il suono non può essere chissà che se è la base del motore...altrimenti nn cambierebbe molto dalla tts e rs...la mini Cooper s la puoi paragonare alla tts...metti uno scarico inox e sicuro sentirai qualcosa in più
Onestamente il 1.6 Turbo della Cooper S (192) è molto più vicino al 1.8 TFSI (160) della mia che al 2.0 TFSI della TTS da 272 cavalli. Ballano circa 80 cavalli eh.
Great work there. I didn't understand the part of fuel consumption. There are 3 types. In town , in highway and middle. Can you tell me for all 3 consumptions per 100km. Thanks in advanced
In town 12km/l, in highway 18km/l, in mix roads 16km/l. I see 23km/l when i drive on extraurban roads with a speed limit of 70 km/h, low emotions but amazing result 😆.

Hello, I am thinking about getting this car, I m not a tall person I m like 174 cm and I m wondering if there s any space in the back seats since I m shorter, my friends are like 183 cm max and I m wondering if any of them fit lol.Also it was a very helpful review
Hi Robert! I'm very happy to help you; the TT it's very small inside, specially the back seats. Usually i drive alone but when i have some friends with me, 175cm it's the limit for the back seats. This limit it's very simple to pass: put your tallest friend on the front seat and the smallest on the back :D.
Swycar Thank you man, it s really hard to find someone that actually responds to these questions, some reviewers say that it s impossible to fit someone there or it s just for little kids which sounds ridiculous , I saw the car in real life and the roof doesn t look THAT low haha ,I think I m gonna get it.Also, is the engine reliable? I m thinking about getting the 1.8 as well because I ve seen the 2.0 is really thirsty, trying to avoid the diesel since it looks like everyone tries to get rid of diesels nowadays
Robert Mitrea I’ve the 1.8 TFSI and it’s not thirsty. On my test drive you can find the info about urban and extraurban use. The entry level petrol version cover The 0-100 in 7.3 sec, has a good torque; in my opinion it’s a good choice for start and, however, you can increase The power without problem in any moment because in very reliable and strong.

@@robertmitrea3251 i m tall (191cm), impossible to fit people on back seat, it's a two place car for me. However, max size on back seat should be something like 175cm because my head touch the roof. Sorry for english

Provata con l'automatico mamma mia rognosissima mi e venuto il nervoso..spero con il manuale funzionano a dovere le cambiate
Il manuale va una meraviglia, l’automatico su mk2 non ho avuto modo di provare ma il molti ne hanno lamentato problemi sia di precisione che di affidabilità.
@@Swycar ma io bho...per adesso per me ci e riuscita la solo Giulietta con il TCT che e perfetta con l'automatico giuro tra Golf e Audi mi hanno fatto girare i coglioni...parlo da ignorante eh sia chiaro vado a sensazioni le competenze sono altre..e non sono nemmeno alfista o pro Fca
L’S-Tronic o il DSG sono dei fulmini (TT mk3, GTD 7, Leon FR etc) quelli delle precedenti generazioni non so dirti. Il TCT lo proverò a breve su Giulietta QV.
Ciao grande, volevo un consiglio.. secondo te conviene fare il passo da una Tt mk1 1.8 180 cv con appunto un 1.8 mk2 come questo? O sarebbe un passettino indietro a livello di prestazioni? O consiglieresti un 2.0?? Con annessi tutti i suoi consumi ..
Vai di Mk2 2.0 200 o meglio ancora 211, i consumi sono relativi, ti divertiresti un mondo.

Dipende da come ti piace guidarla e, soprattutto, dove la guidi. L’S Tronic é una garanzia (su Mk3 é qualcosa di allucinante), se la prendi quattro hai un’arma sotto le chiappe.

Sia nella TT che nell’A3 8P avevo il jack aux nel tunnel centrale e la presa per iPod nel cruscotto.

Hi Bro! I'm 193cm and 95kg, you can enter without problems into a TT. The back seats aren't enough for nobody because the driver seat it's very close to it. In my opinion you can buy a TT and have a lot of fun with it; the 2.0 TDI it's a good engine, with a lot of torque!

If you are 193 cm then I will fit definitely :) Back seats are not problem for me, I am 24 years old, currently driving BMW 535d 2009 and I can't remember when did I use the back seats last time :) I need a car which is fun to drive and easy for driving in city with over a million people. With currently car I have a lot of problems so I think that TT will be better for city driving :)

Il numero che posso dirti è pesantemente influenzabile; dipende da troppi fattori: stile di guida, tipo di strada, etc. Ad ogni modo con un pieno faccio circa 800 km.
@@Swycar ciao ascolta io sto per comprare un 1.8 tfsi però stavo valutando il 2.0... cosa mi consigli? si sente molto la differenza? provengo da una grande punto 1.3 mjt quindi penso che è già molto una 1.8 LOL

@@skrillexthebestful con 55 litri con una media dei 16 km/l (tra urbano ed extraurbano) sono 880 km. Sto sugli 800 perchè poi l'accelerata la fai, magari guidi un po' aggressivo e la media scende, quindi ti dico 800. Per fare 450/500 km con 55 litri devi fare gli 8 km/l il che significa stare ai 200 fissi :D. Con il 1.8 ho coniugato buone prestazioni a consumi e costi accettabili. Il dato che più deve interessarti, ad ogni modo, è il mantenimento. Passare da un'auto piccola ad una TT, che sia 1.8 o 2.0, è un bel balzo in avanti. Aumenteranno i costi di gestione (gomme, tagliandi, olio, bollo, assicurazione, etc) quindi ok la benzina, ma finirà con l'essere un dato relativo (a meno che tu non faccia 30.000 km l'anno). Potessi tornare indietro prenderei il 2.0 TFSI poichè a conti fatti posso permettermi di mantenerlo, non avendo problemi col 1.8 TFSI, però è sempre meglio andare per gradi. Il 1.8 puoi comunque sempre incattivirlo con qualche step ;).
I Sandali Di Cristo la mia risposta è basata su dati raccolti in oltre 2 anni di utilizzo. Se la tua percorre 500km con un pieno, senza una guida particolarmente pesante come mi sembra di capire, falla controllare. Gli 8km/l fissi su un 1.8 160 sono fuori da ogni logica.
Consiglio....1.8 o 2.0?!✌

È un motore pressoché perfetto sia per tenerlo stock sia per caricarci qualche modifica. Ha la giusta potenza, consumi tutto sommato onesti, è il più equilibrato. Il 1.8 può sembrare meno costoso ma, sul lungo periodo, si sente che non è abbastanza per la tipologia di auto. Avendo il 1.8 ed avendone provati diversi, sono giunto a questa conclusione.

Scarichi akrapovic ti fanno pure la plastica in carbonio sotto paraurti a due uscite uno a destra e l altro a sinistra
Sarebbero fantastici, è solo la cubatura del motore che mi frena. Preferirei mettere mano ad un 2.0 TFSI anziché 1.8.
@@Swycar basta la centralina e gli scariki più una turbina un po' più grossa e va meglio della 2.0 lo so perché ho fatto ste cose e un buon filtro del aria un po' più arioso...
Sono tanti secondo te 130.000 km? Per questo motore
A T dipende sempre da come l’ha trattata il proprietario. Se devi acquistarla, controlla lo storico dei tagliandi e informati su eventuali interventi straordinari.
La mia ne ha 230.000 km mai avuto un problema non consuma ne benzina ne olio ovviamente va rispettata fatta scaldare e usata bene
