Very cool! I used to have a robot detective k coloring book back I the late 70’s. I never saw the Series back then but was a huge kikaida and ultraseven faN. Keep up the good work
@@JapanHero i pretty much enjoyed the plot more than the fight scenes they're a bit repetitive and not really flashy and i agree with you about the plot being rushed towards the end its unfortunate
I’m most likely going to remake this for UltraMac Productions’ Showa 48\1973 Revival Project, so any additional information is helpful right now, because I’ve just discovered this show.
My recommendation is to watch the series and then find the supplemental materials that are out there, like the Japanese wikis for the series. While it's not as popular as other shows from this period like Kikaider, it has a very dedicated following.
You're right! He is also well known for playing Kazuya Taki in the original Kamen Rider TV series and guest star in several tokusatsu TV series in the 1970s. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jir%C5%8D_Yabuki
I think Robot Detective was inspired by a character robot detective made of gold alloy from Astro Boy in its episode 'The Greatest Robot in the World' the best story in Astro Boy. But I think Robot Detective in Astro Boy at least the design was inspired by this Robot Detective but the concept was inspired by the original Astro Boy. God bless.
It really is. Robot Detective has a surprisingly large following, even today, for being a henshin boom era character. I hope we get to see an official re-imagining of the character at some point.

This was a cool idea.
One of my favourite Toei Tokusatsu Hero’s! I have a question is there any chance that you have the soundtrack? Because I plan to make a series on him.
Such a great series, right?! I don't have any soundtracks for this show.
@@JapanHero ok 👌 thank you for responding tho.
Fun fact, Shinjo is played by Sonny Chiba's younger brother, Jiro Chiba, I think.

This is the one. Actor Jiro Chiba (千葉 治郎) is the one I believe you are thinking of.

This is a character ripe for a Reboot.
