Moonglet is a very delicious and healthy street style snack made from yellow moong dal. As it is full of protein and heavy snack, you can always serve as brunch for weekends.
For a change, I have added lots of veggies to make it wholesome.
Well, it is very easy and nutritious recipe that you can always make for your family with satisfaction.
Added rice is optional. Rice gives crispy texture .
Baking soda is also optional. Soda makes the batter more fluffy and light.
you can add vegetables of your choice. Without veges also moonglet tastes perfect.
And finally, i have roast in oil. But for more taste ghee or butter is always a good choice. As ghee always helps to digest high protein food.
