This book came out of a collaborative effort of the mothers who inspired Woo Woo Wellness.
We created a circle for our daughters to experience sisterhood and receive guidance as they enter womanhood from a collective and diverse group of women who are parenting shoulder to shoulder here in Maui.
From that circle 9 daughters age 11-13 anonymously asked 89 questions in one of our circles. Each question was handwritten on a small folded piece of paper and placed into a basket. The questions were about womanhood, physiology and dating. We mammas weren’t prepared for the rawness and vulnerability of the questions.
We took up the ask and organized ourselves, each answering as many of the questions as we felt called, from our own individual and varied backgrounds. This book is a compillation of the questions and all the answers. We gifted this book to the daughters who crossed the bridge into womanhood, each one listed in the dedication was handed a manually printed and hand bound copy.
Today we are excited to have it available on Amazon as a gift of wisdom from a collective of women for any teenage daughter who is curious about her next phase in life. And for any mamma who values support on the journey to raise a daughter into womanhood.
