This is by far the best piece of cinematography the offworld has created. Not to flashy, not to stiff, great camera angles with good animations . Shows just the right amount of action and a little story telling. 10/10
Nothing special, its known feature of unreal engine. It had cinematic tool that allow developer to crank up graphic for cinematic movie purpose. Unfortunately you cant run this setting on real time to be used in game.

its probably because USA desperately trying to start Cold War 2 against Russia and China, severing all economical ties and cranking up antipropaganda, so now its okay to add China faction without fearing to insult them or lose Chinese market. And yes, its great that they added actual PLA, instead of fantasy faction.
Yeah they are top notch, wouldn't mind multiple crouch positions and prone positions instead though.....or a dshk that doesn't overheat before one belt or helicopters that take damage from rockets accordingly.
For a game I paid $40 for about six years ago I am amazed. OWI has consistently released content for FREE and the games player base grew from 3000 to 7000 concurrent players over the last year. Squad has outlasted AAA big budget games to become a major title in its genre. The team have outdone themselves with the pace of development and I look forward to this update which will surely bring huge numbers of new players, new servers, and money to continue developing the game.
Optimization sucks, physics suck, my ssd chokes from 70 gb of patching like a bad porn actress. This game is good only because modern aaa market has nothing better to offer

Considering the start to this game, where OWI started to now is amazing, you have to give credit to indie devs where they deserve it. This all started from Project Reality and grew to this insane level, I'd gladly give another $40 if they wanted. I got this game back in Novemebr of 2016, and I've never been more impressed with an indie dev team then this.

This game is fairly niche and doesn't have to worry about getting banned in China as much as the big AAA games do they use generic names in games to avoid drama and profit loss.

Squad is already popular in China and it's about to get a lot more popular. What I also like is there isn't any political insertion, it's just the military forces, whatever background or story for their conflict in the game is for our own heads to imagine.
It’s always good to see the Chinese forces in the game their military is just unique compared to other militaries and makes it a way more interesting game play when you don’t only have the Russians and mea to play against all day

This trailer is really unaccurate because, chinese soldiers are one of the most poorly trained soldiers. In example, they have bad weapons and are really physically weak. They aren't even capable of defending their own country. And it's impossible for PLA to at least do a little assault. Just remember what happened in WW2 where 14 Japanese soldiers captured entire giant chinese base vs 300 PLA army. Who won? Of course Japanese.
So happy they called them the PLA! This has been the most anticipated faction for me! Still hoping that Offworld adds attack helicopters and fast ropes to the game still.

Definitely looks like Squad, just not what happens often in Squad. Not entirely the fault of the game since some times there are teams that just have zero clue what they're doing. The reason why HJ8 reload so quick is that HJ8 will bump out the used launcher towards backward automatically after being fired, so u dont need to remove it by yourself, which save a lot time and make it only need 4.2 sec to reload and fire.
The fact that the open top gunner lasted for so long is the most astonishing part of this animation

It's sad that there is no "blind fire" mode for the gunner to provide some sort of suppressive fire without being exposed.

The most amazing thing about this trailer, is that you can see it was mostly done with actual Squad assets, and still looks stunning.
