Yeah been looking to find the handle screw cap can’t even find the one I’m looking for sense this one is one of those cap that just screw in like a cover
So there’s a solution to fix this, it’s simple too. I have the same reel and fixed it. You just have to take out two of the line lay washers inside the rotor. Twist off the drag cap, take the rotor off, and remove two washers. This will eliminate the bias of the line lay. I suggest you look up a video about biased line lay to help out, a lot of reels are known to do this but it’s a simple fix. Basically if the the line lay is biased towards the bottom, you remove washers, if it’s biased towards the top you add washers.
@@ZRex92 I'm familiar with the washers, however mine was still too biased. To get mine to stop it's bottom bias, I'd have to start removing other stuff.
@@ZRex92Yeah, I returned it. Since then, I just got a Penn Slammer 5500. No BR feature, but still a hell of a reel. I just loosen the drag a bit to simulate, although not too precise.
Picked up one of these. Great price for a great reel. Would have been nicer if the line lay wasn’t so biased towards the bottom.

@@monkeyslap huh sorry about that, I removed two and it definitely spooled much better, I used braid too. Maybe send it back to daiwa
