What is the reels foot made out of? I’m looking for a reel to fish for striped bass and I need a bait runner reel that has no flex in the reels foot. I need that to be made of metal not plastic so that I can crank in 30 lbs striped bass in strong currents

can you post the 4000 series mono/braid capacity...and i dont mean to read it off their site because everyone @ daiwa needs to get fired if they cant even update their reels with the correct numbers.
One tip, rather than ask for specks here, and wait forever--if ever, for them to get back to you--just go to their website, save time.
There is no size difference between 4000and 5000 just get the 5000

I agree with you, that would be the best long term proposition. Sadly not everyone can afford to spend that much in a single purchase and have to make compromises. Personally still trying to find something I can get for £80, the max I can spare. So hard to decide, as just about every youtube channel and website are positive about every reel. So hard to get reviews you can trust.
