Here Sam shows you a quick and easy way of listing old floorboards without damaging the edges. Just shoving a chisel under and pulling can make a real mess of the edges on a floorboard, meaning the won't go back down correctly.

I just used this method to lift two floorboards which were held in with big ol nails. Gently worked my way around lifting each section up. Worked a treat no split boards or crushed edges.
