lol even though the cutting styrofoam with knife was muted (thank you so much for that!) my teeth still starting to hurt just thinking about it. ugh...it still make me queezy thinking about it. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard. Glad you did it and not me, it's the reason I spent $100 on a hot wire cutter. Great video tho!
looks like its just white thermocol sheets, led strips, paper cutting blade, black red orange white mat finish paint and some glue to stick the letters to the black wooden board.

The board alone costs more than $10. 3 colors of paint also more than $10. Those lights are probably $30. What the hell?

Use a Rope Light, if you just made the outside frame of each letter and put rope light in each one it should look pretty good from the air.
