  • $66USD = $100AUD for a Bullet MT G3.0 and a spares truck, some fuel, transmitters, 4 wheels for a TMAXX. It was the dirtiest truck i have ever bought. The engine has zero compression. What can we do with all this?
    Its a 3 part series:
    1. Teardown and clean
    2. Build the chassis and engine
    3. ZERO COMPRESSION Engine problems. Will it start?

Wow that was really bad. You did a great job cleaning it up. 😎

yeah the dirt was almost baked on and fused to the plastic. i mean there was dirt evrywhere, even places i didnt know dirt could get to. inside radio box etc. and had to clean many parts twice. its ok, total bargain and i love the G3.0 in the MT chassis. and i really needed a body shell! it was a win! part 2 is the long build. part 3 will be interesting, with the repinched engine!

@@inzp3ctor Shane the engine was toast. It looks like new inside, but I bet some of that dirt got in it.

Yes some dirty water might have got in there. Now the air filter was clean but wasn’t original. And I noticed the foam in the filter wasn’t the correct size. But in the end you’ll just love how corporate nitro gets this truck going again without spending money. I was thinking to myself at minimum I would have to spend $90 on a piston and sleeve kit

Seeing you had the engine stripped would it not have been a good idea to replace all the bearings? Thanks for the video

Hi Richard, yes this is a valid concern. If the engine has such little compression that it needs to be repinched it’s the ideal moment to change the bearings. However this is corporate nitro. Here we bought the truck completely dirty for $100 (and came with a parts truck) and cleaned it up, got it repinched and sold it to an idiot who had no clue about RC cars for $220. If I had of bought bearings that would have eaten into my profit margin. All earning go towards reinvestment of future stock to ensure the channel survives global pandemics and recessions! Have a merry XMas Richard and plenty of big block monster truck restores coming in 2024 with no less than 3 MGTs!
