Series s wasn’t a console designed for resolution .. it’s for performance (higher fps) . You can go into settings on most games and put quality mode over performance .. it’ll look better but run worse
@@drummer7557The resolution alone doesn’t determine whether the GPU is an improvement. The Series S GPU is several times faster than the One S , which can be seen in texture quality and lighting. If the Series S were rendering games at the same low quality as the One S, it would have no trouble rendering frames in 4K.

Because if you’re playing on a large TV, it’s a lower resolution console. It’s not really much of a graphical upgrade from the Xbox one
