Also depends what youre after. M2 N55 easily beats out M2C on engine mod cost, maintenance cost, Engine sound, reliability and the cost of the car to begin with. Havent got to worry about turbos going at 50K, spinning crank hubs, and multiple other things. Ive been looking at M2s for a while and id easily choose an OG M2 over the M2 Comp.
@jackse82 yeup that's exactly what I did about 5 months ago. Found a loaded clean stocked one owner 2018 m2 lci with a manual and could've bought the m2c for about 6k more. But again the n55b is an amazing machine. I know make 645whp on flex fuel and 535whp on 93 octane. The pure 750 turbo is amazing along with all the supporting mods ie...vrsf fmic, catless dp, upgraded stage 2 hpfp, lpfp, mpe exhaust, turner motor sport intake, sparks, turbo inlet/outlet, charge pipe, m2c aluminum and carbon strut brace with m2c steering coded in, custom m4 seats, gts hood, m2 cs front lip, psm spoiler, carbon fiber m2c side mirros, carbon fiber rear diffuser and side lips/skirts. Sorry for the rant. But I couldn't be happier. This car wasn't designed to just be a road monster it'd a perfect balanced car that sounds amazing and is fast. People get to caught up in numbers and in reality the m2c is like literally like .3 seconds faster in the qtr lol. I'm a fan of all m2s minus the g series. Just glad we can still obtain these vehicles for a bit longer. If I ever did a s55 it would be single turbo top mount on an m4 because imo s55 just doesnt sound that great.
I know all the other engines make more power but for sound N55 will always be on top for me!
