I'm one of the crew members that built the car. Its 217 foot jump is second only to Al Wyatt's 230 foot Grannie Annie jump. It is also the General Lee to jump the furthest in front of a crowd, so Its a true record breaker. I'm Glad the car went to a good home.

Friday night was pizza 🍕, The Incredible Hulk and The Dukes of Hazzard. For an 11 year old kid and his siblings and a few friends, it was like a party every Friday night!
I think it's wonderful that your friend here wants to keep the dukes of hazards alive. Now myself I see his show where neighbors helping neighbors. Fighting corrupt law enforcement officials. You know that crap still going on in real life
@wingedanglers this should make for interesting TH-cam content. I know a guy actually a couple of incidences of helicopters flying in. You'll find in late at night low just above treetop. 100 ft off the ground. And these incidences are pretty far apart from each other. What they're doing with that big light on the bottom of their helicopter 🚁. They were not the good guys. Crazy world we live in bunch of grey not so black and white. Into anybody else to read says it has nothing to do with a person's skin color.
It seems to be a thing of getting panther platform cars and putting AMD metal on it to be a charger...The guy that owns this jump car just bought a building down the road to put all his dukes of hazard vehicles and memorabilia. Soon do a video with him on all of them
This is cool but I’d want one that still drives. To each their own. Not knocking it. I’d just rather have a car that functions. As soon as they beat this record, this car will be forgotten, unfortunately.

@pancakeluxury23 right now the wheels are busted and bent. Car won't move or roll.. They want it to be be able to atleast roll. Easier to get on and off the trailer

Go to cooters in pigeon forge Tennessee and see the general Lee they have out front built from a crown Vic then see the real charger general Lee inside the store
FORDGE when you combine that crown Vic Ford with a Dodge charger you end up with a FORDGE. That's why I told the guy when I sat in it. And we was talking with the actor Rick Hurst who played Cletus. Anyway him I talked for give or take an hour in between him signing autographs. That's where I came up with the combination of the word it's been a few years. I'm not saying I'm the only one that came up with it but they liked it.

That car actually started out as a 1998 Grand Marquis. I know who donated it personally to the NE Ohio Dukes.
