- This sets shows the behaviour of light as it passes through:
1) a convex lens
2) a concave lens
3) a rectangular glass block
4) a prism

Study must be practical in schools
And Ironically after studying physics for 4 years i have not gone to the lab even once
H
We are having practicals every Friday in r school....
@@mahavirmahato3662 Lucky😎.
@@mahavirmahato3662 where are U from?
This video made me understand lenses better than those 40-50 min lectures
Correct
@@sheetsage4867 it's just that this experiment was practical and I was able to correlate it with what I studied. Books are my best friends:)
@@nipunkumar1175 right
Especially when you study practical and then theory......it is better
@@biophilia3091 right
As an indian, we study a hell lot then the west but still don't have the best ranking of colleges...now i know why!
Yep u said right our teachers seems too lazy to show and teach with practicals
@@A2G2Anims040 Right
@@A2G2Anims040 yes. Even if the schools don't have labs, but the teacher is interested in making the students to learn easily he/she can bring these things and can show for us. Even if he can't show, he can just show this video 😂😂
@@usha4323 i had to watch videos on TH-cam just to understand the functioning of lenses and stuff, and the best part, i understood the thing in just one try, while the teacher had to explain it for many times. And then, they expect us to score 110/100. The harsh reality
@@radhikachandwani6522 yes
This is the way education is supposed to be. Visual and practical. Not just mugging up from a text book and vomiting on an exam paper.
Yes
That's the best words for the purpose here
Great choice of words 😂
Absolutely right brother
Great usage of words👏👏
I wish this could b taught in schools in India 🥺
It is taught right? In 10th standard. I learned this in physics in 10th standard.
@@sayonmondal3454 i meant with the practical experiment... We are being taught this in 8-9 class but without the practical experiment.. If our teacher's teach us with the exp then it would b a lot easier for students to grasp.
@@surbhitiwari1847 which class are you in right now? Because in 10th standard we do have practicals in our school
@@sayonmondal3454 u have the same kinda practical or the different one which has that lens stand and all
@@sayonmondal3454 btw m 12th pass out
As expected of a video under 1 min....taught me better in less time than an entire year of textbook study...
Where tf were you hiding during my high school years?
😂😂😂 koi baat nhi didi...
Exactly, When I Was In High School, I Faced Too Many Difficulties To Understand About Lenses And Prisms..!!
Where The Hell Was This Guy That Time..!! 🙄
@@awesomethoughts Yeah! I am lucky! But my physics test is next MONDAY :S I need more time kkk
@@user-rx8qb2gx2b 😀😀🤣🤣
Yes it never recommended when I needed to see these things.
Who is seeing that experiment after having a lecture on types of lenses
How did you knew bro😂
It's obvious

This is how physics should be taught,
My friend hated this chapter but when i recommended these types of practical videos to him, He became a lover of this chapter 😅
Its great to see n experience n learn rather than just text book language .
100%
wow...I learnt this theoretically in my school book...but now I watched it practically...greatly satisfied..🙂🙂💗
Oh my god🤩! These are pretty good practically😃! Schools should provide practical knowledge instead of those overloaded books🙄🥴
Dislikes are from teachers
😂😂😂😂
This is how i wanna learn..
This is amazing to study practically more than the theorys
OMG!! Thank you so much for doing this experiment!!

TH-cam read my google history as I cheated yesterday in my Science's exam and this video came in my recommendations today. Not a coincidence I tell you
After 18 year I understand this concept
😂😂
Thank god
Mere time mein internet agaya hai
I am understanding it in class 8th
This type of study method is needed, short and sweet.
I learnt this in theory when I was in school. Seeing this in practical feels so amazing.
But whatever and however I learnt was, is and will always be best and I still love it.
Short but gr8...🧐😊
I shared this in my science class and I was appreciated😁, thanks🙏
I strongly supports importance of practical demonstration of phenomenon, which is live experience for the students,
Lecture methods only imparts knowledge rather than impregnating the idea of curiosity and creativity .
Very good attempt of showing the properties of lenses by using lasers. 👌
These practicals really help in understand the concept
Very good practical method
If our indian school had this kind of explanations then every student would be a topper
Yes in Indian school there is bhed chaal instead of practicals experiment
that's why we don't have it na!!
Its very nice through this the concept of lens will become 100% clear ....
When I check any lesson
You're video will come first
Thank you sir.
Because of your video I understood lenses much better.
This video is very helpful to understand the lens. Very Nice Video.
great video! loved it man
Indian Schools Can do this practical
It does not cost that much .I gues,
coooool my physics teacher never taught us like that before.hoping you teach us more about science like this in the future also.
Simple and amazing. Instead of 1 hr lecture 1 min practical seems way better
My teacher showed me this vdo to have practical knowledge!
Today i am showing my student this vdo for the same case!may be he will do so in future!
Such a helpful vdo
That's how i want to study physics
Many answers became clear because of this video. Thank you 😊
Wish I had this when I learnt this chapter...glad that kids can access such utilities on the internet:)
This shit came after I struggled alot in 10 th standard in understanding the phenomenon
Very nice demonstration
I really couldn't understand a word, but great video
same here mahn
The language is English
Turn on captions
Nice work , 👏👏 keep uploading
Thank you sir for giving us a practical knowledge ♥️ love from india
Every legendary videos is under 1 minute
Much more insightful than the traditional methods of education
Great 😃😃😃 👍
🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️Loved it!!
Congratulations for this short and amazing explanationon. This platform let us spread all we know and from MEETOPTICS we are proud to be part of the photonics community and to help engineers and researchers in their search for optical lenses through our site, from prisms to mirrors and fresnel lenses.

55 sec video is much better than hours of lectures..✌
Wonderful experiment to explain converging and diverging lens.
Nice, keep making such videos :)
Your videos are awesome 💐
It took me many days to understand it by book diagrams.
Even then I was confused.
But seeing lens in practically I understood it easily.
Superb
Please show in cylindrical....concavo convex....plano convex....plano concave lens too....lots of Love From INDIA 🥰🥰🥰
Great, must say this need appreciation.
This is great and cheap to learn, should be available at schools
0:23 ,focal point of convex lens where all the rays coming from infinity get refracted and meet at focal point
This video is very much helpful to understand this concept
Beautiful
If Indian teachers will teach like this, then study wouldn't be a boring task for students.
Great video and I would like to see more¡¡¡
In school there would be a practical for every concept/ so its easy to understand . 👌👍💗
Wonderful Video!!!❤
