@@Ashleyludwig901 No at this time Genie had just turned 18 and Tony was 33. He said he felt very protective of Genie in a big brother type of way. Genie was dating Kin Shriner(Scotty) then later Steve Gutenberg from Police Academy.
Luke; “Oh tell me about it”. His posture here with his hand on his hip and his delivery of that line had me cracking up. GF’s face when she said she’s a lady 😂😂😂. And his face in response mocking her concern for her marriage vows when he almost drowned. This was one of the funniest, ironic exchanges between these two. Just wonderful acting! 👏🙌
It was AMAZING entertainment!!! Hence my dedication in making it available to all who want to experience it. Nobody should be denied because they were born after 1970ish!
I was 13-14 years old when these episodes originally aired….I remember rushing home from school just to watch the Luke & Laura saga….rewatching these old clips brings back so many good memories. Thank you so much for sharing!
I will hand it to JZ for an excellent job at 3:12........from a real life experience, the day my brother died (he was 43, I was 37) of course there were spurts of crying, and being calm. But I remember losing it exactly the way JZ portrayed it in that few second scene. Kudos to JZ for Barbara Jean's character to have mourned this story SO well!! Something like that cannot truly be acted unless you've gone through it, or, you're a DARN GOOD actor!!
A motel? Don't get any ideas. LOL They might die, but she's worried about her reputation. LOL But you have to love how strong she becomes from here on out. She's a whole different Laura.
Bobbie and Ruby playing dumb. ROFL! They are pretending they don't know what Joe Kelly is talking about ROFL! Luke wants to protect Laura! He gets angry and then soft and tells her he loves her. ROFL! I just love that! And Laura is funny. She says she respects her marriage vows. Really since when? You almost made love to Luke on that boat. ROFL!
I just wanted to say that Joe and Bobbie were always there for one another...First, when Bobbie thinks Luke is dead and all that follows, then when something happens to Joe and Bobbie is right there for him......They would have made an amazing couple. They were already beautiful friends...

Laura’s such a child….Luke is beat to a pulp probably feeling miserable, running from the mob….and she’s worried about him hitting on her in a motel….wow….🙄
LOVE being able to go back (over and over again lol) to watch Luke and Laura's story! I just can't watch once they break up!! I love her and Kevin now but after watching L&L with their 90's return it's hard to picture her having that special connection with anyone else but Luke! But I'd much rather see her with Kevin than Scotty. They just don't go together at all! Imo
One thing I do not understand is that when she pawned the medallion that’s how Frank Smith found out he was alive but he took the little black book and when Frank Smith figured out it was gone he would know that Luke is alive, so what’s the difference?
They know something went down between luke and laura now. Frank smith won't be forgiving of the woman who was suppose to be sleeping with his daughters fiancee. That alone means she's in danger too.
"You do exactly what I tell you to do"! " Oh I love you so much"! Only Luke could get away with that. 😸
✌️😂😂😂✌️!!!Yeah, right!!🤣🤣🤣✌️!!! Lol!!!
Anthony Geary and Genie Francis were and always will be the king and queen of soaps. Great actors that had the best chemistry working together!
Yes the very best - noone comes close to them ! Perfection :)
They had a magic like no one else. I miss them so much.
Did they dated real life?
So Frank Smith was able to put a spy on Bobbie and Ruby but couldn't post someone up at his office in case Luke was alive?

This is what made her stronger from this time forward. She would've shriviled up and died with Scott. Luke gave her life.
Laura fields yes!!!
The rape notwithstanding, Luke had WAY more respect for Laura than Scotty ever did.
Yes Lukedid give Laura a new life. RememberLaura gave him love in his life. Hay what’s a life without The LOVE. Thank Rosie
I’m a lady line was too funny, think they both nearly cracked up laughing

I was born in 1979 and 2 years old in 1981 so too young for their beginning.

Thank you so much for preserving this splendid drama and making it available to us!
It's amazing how there can be such despair and yet such humor in the same episode!
Love these Luke, & Laura on the run Summer episodes, as well as the Independence Day episodes the best!
Joe was a big addition to all this! Great acting.
this is so perfect without commercials. in 1980...this whole video would stretch out to 5 days lol
Luke love when he says "Oh tell me about it."
At 6:30 with a hand on his hip lol!!!

God the way he says the magic words to her so tenderly 🥺🥺🔥❤️😩
I like how she is trying not to laugh when he taunts her about her marriage vows.
I know right? They are hilarious together!!!
You can’t tell me that Luke is not Bobbi’s brother...she mourned with such authenticity! This is better in 2019 than the crap they have on television!
Right??!!!
Luke has always been able to handle Laura better than anyone
mallox77 because he knows her best. He almost always knows her. Almost.

"whatever Scotty accused me of, I'm a lady." LMAO!!! GF is too adorable.
jennhunt1996 🤣
Laura will you just shut up and hide already?!! You can demand answers and argue after you're in the storage room!!
Definitely, Jackie Zeman nailed it!
Yeah for such a confident guy Laura is the one thing he was always insecure about really.

I would love to see Doug Sheehan back, and this time as Chief of Port Charles Police.
They would have been so great together.
I wonder what he is doing now
Betsy Keller I know right?
Totally agree, They would have been a perfect couple

Luke is not Luke without Laura.
So true!
Agreed. He is angry and bitter without her. He's only at his best when they're together.
If only Tony Geary agreed and hadn't ruined it for all of us

Luke what you said from 5:28 to 5:35 was awesome.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I so appreciate your enthusiasm SNOW! You keep me working!!
They were a great family unit the 3 of them.
I cracked up when Laura said that she was a lady and that she wasn't what her husband accused her of.
I feel so bad for Bobby :(
There Bobbi goes with the "We are Elm Street kick"!
It was a different era. That kind of talk, family heritage was a big part of the culture. It’s not so much that way anymore.
Laura and her marriage vows🤣🤣🤣

Luke Spencer is the love of her life and she is his

Very Interesting Michael. Thanks for sharing!
So do we!!!
Joe Kelly should never have given that ring to Bobbie, it was meant for Jennifer and should have gone to her.
Luke is manhandling Laura-dragging her around, telling her to shut up and being verbally abusive to her

Good point. Maybe the medallion selling got them exposed sooner than Luke wanted. And Laura doing it meant everyone knew they were together
ROFLOL!!!!
@entertainme3000 yep
why does selfish luke have to drag Laura a married woman in his escapades?
They know something went down between luke and laura now. Frank smith won't be forgiving of the woman who was suppose to be sleeping with his daughters fiancee. That alone means she's in danger too.
