I love how Shaindee got vulnerable about how she struggled with her outer appearance when she was dating. Not a lot of people go in depth and speak about that openly and validate the parts of ourselves that feel unseen and unloved. Loved this episode !! Thank you for doing this
@@antoniajane5442 I was once talking with Rebitzen Bulman ztl. She told me when her son was going out on shiduchem he would get feedback that the girl didn't feel the chemistry. So he asked his mother if on the next date he can bring a chemistry book. If it was just that easy.
Chemistry is actually a very important piece for us in the shidduch (matchmaking) system! If there isn't chemistry (or at least something to build off of) then often times couples will discontinue seeing each other!
I've been honored to have met this couple in person a few months ago at the nichum aveilim for my father. They are both such special positive people and I truly admire them. Thank you Shaindee and Avromi for the dinner that night. I never got to say thanks. Great podcast and wonderful story.
Tzipora does it again. She hit that ball right out of the ballpark. Being able to put on the table todays challenges is brilliant. And with Hashems help Klal Yisroel be able to overcome and grow stronger and healthier. Kol hakavod keep up the awesome work. Im already looking forward for the next one.
@@TziporaGrodko I just finished listening to podcasts #5. It was perfect. You should know I was nervous for you. Wondering if you will be able to pull off another sold interview. But as usual you have been able to show us that Hashem has a wonderful world and we just need to enjoy the moment. And what is ment to be will be. Love your work keep it up.
@@TziporaGrodko You really look like a natural interviewer. You make it look so easy. Any way thought of another idea/project. Your platform will also be able to grow. But I don't know if you will be able to make the time and put together a team. But it simple just create an email address that older singles can send in there resume. And each episode read one out. Without names and this way more singles might want to write in. Maybe even add some positivity to the resume and it will give a boost to that individual that might have lost hope. Lots of luck Yitzchak. AND may you have a blessed year with not just hope but also results, for you and your future family.
Tzipora cracked me up... "Women in the Orthodox world age in dog years" funny but sad. Thanks for breaching this very important topic. Another amazing couple BH
This is the best frum couple I have heard a story about! I absolutely loved them. I also loved seeing that they are growing together and that Avrumie is wearing a wedding band!!!! How nice to see in a frum man. Lovely podcast 😊
these two are perfect for each other! the picture at 0:36 at their own wedding playing the saxophone and guitar is so beautiful! This story shows how important it is to be yourself and how Hashem can give you what you want! No doubt about it! Their story brings me so much chizuk. thank you for sharing your story with us! i really love the way Tzipora lets them talk and doesn't interrupt much. its such a beautiful podcast. cant wait for another upload!
Agree with the point about how it's harder to meet the standards of a frum guy - I think that's why I see so more guys becoming less frum, compared to the girls.
There is a simple recipe to fix that. But it takes lots of work. There are two ways to set up our standards. You can live your life and try to squeeze Hashem and the mitzvot into it. Or focus on Hashem and try to make him happy and his world a better place. This way you know you did your best and truly that's all he wants from us, is to just try. Like every parent watching their kids. They don't expect them to be rocket scientists. But aim to do the right thing. And always remember those who try, make mistakes and it's ok. Because we learn from our mistakes and grow.
So, what does one need to have credentials to get on this podcast? Do all these marriages need to have a backstory? Or can regular unions that happened bkz g-d wanted them to be, also apply?
I feel like davening with a minyan has become a thing of the past for some people and lets be real most guy's that miss minyan don't daven at all their should be praise encouragement and respect for people to go to minyan
It's better to go then not go Cuz the hope is that you will be making use of that special time and it's a fact most people that don't go to minyan dont daven at their house
Don't think the system is going to change.... I do not think you're going to start finding single guys randomly going up to girls at weddings lol It's definitely for a certain demographic...
Don't think that his suggestion would take off anytime soon, the bit about just going up to girls and such.... Still pretty much not accepted.... Certain demographic probably....
One potential problem of going up to a potential date at a wedding is very technical. Dor Yeshorim. It's a risk to expose onself to becoming emotionally involved with someone you haven't checked out. Maybe you want to take that risk? Seems wiser to me to ask who it is, check them out, then meet.

Finally someone is saying on standardized podcasts what I've been saying in person. You need to match personality not the tablecloth color.
Think that these two guests should start mentoring people in the dating process.... They're wise and mature beyond their years..... ❤
Such wholesome vibes and messages from the guests and host, thank you for sharing!
Their relationship seems so supportive- Special! Inspiring!!
Very cute couple. Thank you for being so candid. For the record, stay at home moms are not boring and have plenty of interests!
Wow what a wonderful podcast! Such good points said!!
Thank you so much for this! We need more people speaking these realistic truths and putting the superficiality aside!
Tzipora, love these podcasts! I wait every week for these, love them! Thank you!! Avromi and Shaindee, you guys are awesome!
How lovely to hear a Jewish couple say that "chemistry" is so important. Wonderful couple!

Great episode Tzipporah! Middos are the main thing. If he/she is kind a loving to you-you will have shalom bayis and be happy together forever ❤
Perfection! Loved every second...this was so educational and fun
Many of us feel like we are not on the greatest hits list for dating just because of logistics technicalities or family backrounds
Thank you for yet another inspiring story

I recently met her mother. A walking legend. The happiest funniest most welcoming lady in the world.
These people are awesome.
Sweetest couple ever
I can imagine how hard it would be to be makpid about going to minyan, when he didnt have his father present in his life.

Do u plan to do teshuvash and chassidish couples.
Middos is everything
Camping should totally be a box on resumes

This is not a story of hope for older singles. Plain and simple
I feel like davening with a minyan has become a thing of the past for some people and lets be real most guy's that miss minyan don't daven at all their should be praise encouragement and respect for people to go to minyan
Imho that's a bit presumptive - not everyone who goes to Shul really davens, and lots of people daven outside of shul
It's better to go then not go
Cuz the hope is that you will be making use of that special time and it's a fact most people that don't go to minyan dont daven at their house
@@Jdubtheyid How did you conclude that 'fact'?
Maybe your the biggest tzadik and you wouldn't know 😏

It’s time for klall Yesrual to get married to each other no matter hashkofa. We have to be together in this time

Connection matters.
