I would agree on people preferring you not to push yourself on the days you just can't. No one wants to feel like someone is spending time with them because they feel obliged to, and that's the same for chat.
We want you to enjoy yourself streaming.
.....except for Alien. Then we want you terrified.

I'm glad you've stuck with streaming and have come into your own with it. I believe you've done fantastic and I can't wait to see what else you do. Also, as always...

Having a good online community (or several) can be so helpful. I think I'd be back in depression were it not for streamers, & I think that's the same for many people, but that does tend to add an element of responsibility to do streams & be entertaining. Fewer streams where you're enjoying yourself are always preferable to more where you aren't though; it literally makes for better content on top of being much better for the streamer.
Hoping you continue to enjoy it & avoid burn-out, & also hoping to find the time to catch you on Twitch occasionally (and hopefully one day see you guesting on GTS too).

    Thanks for sharing Lolies.
And I understand the alcohol thing. I haven't touched alcohol in 22 years partly because it made me weepy (coming from an alcoholic family background was a huge reason) and while I haven't had as much understanding as why I don't drink as I like from people I cared about, good on you for not overindulgening.
Saying that, I was amused by your tipsy antics in a certain recent Xmas Vid!
Take care of yourself and keep being a bright spot in our lives. Xx

Mental health is a real pain. I struggle myself with enough mental health issues I know exactly what you mean. Especially having dipped my toes into streaming myself. It's nice to have a little control, and it makes it a million times better to have a community that understands. Continue being you!!

Thanks for sharing all your thoughts on this. Both as a community member and someone who has been trying his best to figure out how to navigate this past year with everything it's thrown at us all, your thoughts really hit home. Let me just say that even if you didn't like what your first streams were like from a technical perspective, being someone who was there from those first puzzle streams I knew immediately from both your energy and thoughts as well as I what I was getting from people in chat that it was a place I wanted to be and stick around. First year has been great, and can't wait to see what comes next! You've collected a lot of good eggs (and Sam)!

Always appreciate your honesty and the community around you is a reflection on the kind of person you are - uplifting and supportive of each other, while also craving bad puns and memes at all times. I'm glad the pandemic is ending but sad that I don't get to watch as many live streams. :) But I am really happy to hear that Twitch streaming brings you so much joy!

Can't agree more. If you're really unhappy or stressed in your day job it can affect so much. I'm in that situation now, and at the moment there's no exit for me. I had to turn to other things to help me, weekly D&D being a big one right now, gives me an escape once per week, but ultimately I need to find a way to leave this job. That said, i'm happy you found a way to help yourself, I've been following you since you began your day-job and started interacting more on Twitter, and I'm pleased to see you've taken off and gotten more fans and viewers. Its well deserved :)

Definitely speaks to me. I also dealt with being mood-swingy when I was younger (cyclothymia specifically), and I've found that throwing myself into projects helps me stay stable during lockdown. Glad this is good for you, cos we like you streaming too :)

As one of those community members, I want to say thank YOU for putting yourself out there and letting us fall into orbit around you. Following you from DB to Twitch, and the raids between you and Immo has been such a fun journey. I'm so happy to hear that you're prioritizing health, especially since Rest is a definite phase of creativity. Congrats on 1k subs!

Thank you for being so open about your mental health. It's a difficult thing to do, nevermind to an online audience. Hoping this video helps others to discuss their feelings when they need help. 🙌

I'm glad streaming has helped! ❤️
Panic attacks can materialise in all manner of weird forms, screaming, crying, dizziness, laughter, I think it is just the brain going 'IDUNNOHELP' 😂😂
I do understand what you mean and I really appreciate what you have said in this video! I worked for five years in retail and it made me ill. I was working jobs I hated for no money and ridiculous long hours, whilst being attacked and stalked everytime I left and returned to my family home, (and even whilst I was at home). My escape was going to a job I hated only to be shouted at, sworn at, had things thrown at me, had my job threatened repeatedly even though legally they had no grounds to fire me, (and they got really upset when they realised I knew that!) I had members of staff talk behind my back and get upset when I was 'promoted' over them.. I wasn't promoted, I was just the only one whom would work Sundays so I was given keys. 😂
After years of this I needed one day off to recover from the flu. No one would even cover my shift for the morning. So I had to go into work, and I passed out upstairs a couple times whilst my only friend and colleague there tried to cope with running a store on her own even though she'd never done it before, because she'd put me upstairs to rest.
In the end that one day resulted in my M.E becoming a problem again, I couldn't function, I collapsed and I couldn't walk or breathe properly. I developed ocd and couldn't eat.
But somehow now I'm playing catch up with the games I've missed and I'm even considering starting to draw again! I know my own mind, and I might still be in a rut but life is somehow worth living again, because for once I was allowed to at least start getting better. I might not be in a good place but it isn't too bad either, I was just too strong for too long is all. My ill health for once has helped.
Honestly, you've got this. I know I am just a random stranger, but I am happy to believe in you, good person reading this, until you can believe in yourself, if it helps a little 😊💜

@@JustLolies Thank you, I have greatly appreciated having your streams and seeing people happy to share their hobbies and joy for things like gaming, and art, and it honestly gave me hope when I really didn't have any, so I will forever be thankful for that! I hope you are well, and thank you again ❤️

All I see is 17 minute long permission to be meaner with my teasing.
For real though, great news, and looking at how Johnny is doing right now, I'd love to hop in with support if that's also gonna be Lolies way one day

    Repetitive motion injury
Repeating the same motion over and over again - like playing a video game or typing on a keyboard - can damage the muscles, nerves, tendons, and ligaments in your hands.
Repetitive motion injuries are common in people who work on assembly lines or use vibrating equipment.
Other symptoms of a repetitive motion injury include:
    pain
    numbness or tingling
    swelling
    weakness
    difficulty moving
If you keep repeating the movement, you may eventually lose function in the affected finger or thumb
