    Toshi is so great! I still remember when I first met him years ago, when you guys first started playing together. 🙂. I’ve loved watching his career grow over the years since then. It’s so great to see you guys back together playing again & making this new music. It’s been too long. It made me happy to see you met up while you were in LA Phil. Take care guys. 🙏🏻

    Do you think developing one's own sound comes from regularly practicing playing on instinct? Getting out of one's own head?

      Thats a great question and one that is not easily answered in a short sentence. There are several factors. And very deep. But I will say to a certain extent it comes from a result of the environments you are in across your life time. Also to a big degree rhythmic knowledge and the ability to connect that creatively to vocabulary. Those are the biggest factors IMHO. Thank you for the question. Super important!
