      I think I have seen benefits from Omega 3's in Cod Liver Oil; my skin primarily, less dry of skin and less likely to get jock itch. I think the D and A contribute to it not just the omegas, as i have taken flax seed oil and didn't like it, no benefit and my body had some issues sometimes when I took it.

      No benefits I noticed at ALL! However, I did notice a queasy stomach. I don't think my liver likes it! I have tried over the years because it's sooo promoted!! You have set my liver free! No more trying. I do muscle testing and at times I tested positive for it, but honestly more negative responses! I'll just stick to my occasional can of sardines and other fatty fish.😊 Thanks for your videos!

    I love your sense of humor and I had never heard it explained this way. I am insulin resistant and recently started taking liquid Omega 3 a few weeks ago, a very good brand, and lately I have been having minor headaches and more anxiety so I am going to back no fish oil for a few weeks and see if that helps. Thanks!

    High levels of omega 3 can increase blood sugar and glucose levels, resulting in glycemic control deterioration. Increased glucose creates increased insulin, which can create insulin resistance. 3.8 grams omega 3 is the limit for most people, then problems start after that. I'm struggling to stay under the limit because I consume too much. Omega 3 per item all wild caught, grass fed, pasture raised: can of herring 1.440g, can of sardines 2.200g, can of mackerel 2.029g, 5oz salmon 1.478g, 6oz salmon 1.774g, 7oz salmon 2.070g, egg 0.300g, extra virgin olive oil 0.76g, beef 0.84g then flax, chia, hemp are high in omega 3 but the body only processes less than 0.5%, so all seeds together equate to less than 1 gram of usable omega 3

      @vikingstorm32 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I forgot to add cod liver oil 0.850g omega 3

      right, and the reason it increases sugar levels is because what I talk about in this video. So you listed averages above, but what will really be helpful to understand is that it varies from person to person, and you can figure out how much YOU can actually tolerate by looking at your body chemistry. If you're leaning too anabolic, you can tolerate a lot more. If you're leaning too catabolic, even small amounts can make you worse. You can learn how to look at your body chemistry at home in our free digestion course here: kickitnaturally.com/course
      and you can learn more about how we become insulin resistant with my new video here: th-cam.com/video/7sRC1RJpkDA/w-d-xo.html

    Hello Mr.TCHale...... You are the first one on TH-cam (I've watched a LOT) that has been talking about this catabolic imbalance problem, I've been dealing with severe insomnia for so long, severe constipation, severe fatigue and it as I thought I was doing the right things f. example consuming a lot of Omega 3's, evoo,flaxseed oil, chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seed oil, fish oil, pumkin seed oil, oil of oregano and I also eat eggs, eat a lot of fiber...... everyone one talks about how important this is.... and I take magnesium at night..... I just ordered your book "Kick your fats in the nuts", and I will make some changes in my supplementation. Thank you. Sincerely Gestur from Icelaand :)

      some of those things MIGHT be right for you if your constipation is caused from being way too anabolic. That imbalance can actually cause insomnia for some people. But as you will learn in my book, the most important thing is to look at your chemistry to get idea of what is really going on instead of taking remedies according to symptoms. Let us know how it goes.

    Could you please provide references for how Omega III fatty acids promote insulin resistance and are pro-catabolic? In addition as most of the Standard American Diet has pro-inflammatory Omega 6 concentrations that are high, would it be a good idea to measure the Omega 3-6 ratio and supplement accordingly to have a better balance? Interested in your comments and thoughts.

    • @KickItNaturally

      Thanks John. If you're a health pro, I go a lot more into this in my book, Health Pro Results and you can download that for free here: sixfigurehealthpro.com/book
      You can also google omega 3s and Ray Peat or Guy Schenker and they have a lot of work on the insulin resistance stuff. The pro-catabolic aspect we learned from Dr. Emanuel Revici, featured in the book, The Doctor Who Cured Cancer. The omega 3, omega 6 balance is important, but the omega 3s are still problematic for those individuals discussed in this video no matter what the ratio. Hope that helps.

    I find it appalling that legit doctors still use that study as the only good case for fish oil supplements.
    I still believe fish oil is healthy for other things, but particularly derived from eating fish. But there is no research that im aware of that supports efficacy of any fish supplements for the heart. Probably due to oxidation and absorbtion.

      What's great @Alek Kostanyan is you can watch your body chemistry and figure out if you're creating a problem or not. Does an imbalance improve when you stop the omega 3s, etc. Then, you can know if it's fiction FOR YOU, and that's what really matters. This video can show you how to figure out if you're already leaning too far on that catabolic side: th-cam.com/video/bhYhU2_LSfM/w-d-xo.html
